In the first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread you are told...

  • Ok I will find my original email response to them from the start and resend this, is it common for them to start contacting again after such a long time?

    a) I am seeking debt advice but I deny any debt and the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.
    (b) I have sent your client a SAR

Yep, it's what they do to intimidate.

  • Ok I’ve emailed them with the above, I’ll sit and wait to start the merry go around all
    over again
  • I emailed the lovely bw legal on the 3rd, as of now no response to asking for my case to be put on hold for 30 days, I have now received this, do I email them again or even ring but not giving them any information they don’t need?

    thanks in advance

Ignore it. Certainly never ring that firm!

  • Am I right in thinking I just sit and wait for there next letter? I’m sure last time I received a letter or email confirming my case would be put on hold for 30 days

OK, so they gave you thirty days, it looks like you can expect a County Court Claim Form to drop through you letterbox one day next week.

Probably not wise to 'just sit and wait'. Why not prepare yourself for the inevitable, by reading again the second post of the NEWBIES thread and the template Defence thread to understand how to deal with the Claim when it arrives?
  • I will do but I was under the impression they should allow me to put the case on hold until I can obtain my sar again and all other relevant information?

last time checking back through my emails I got a response telling me the case was on hold, this time they seem to have just ignored my email
