OK, you told us you emailed BWL asking for the case to be put on hold for thirty days and it looks like they didn't ignore your email.
Although it might have been courteous, they had no obligation to confirm with you that they were doing so.
They do not need to consider the response to your SAR at all and in any case that response will be far more useful to you at Witness Statement time.
They have now written to you telling you that the thirty days are up.
As I said earlier, expect that Claim Form to arrive shortly.0 -
The 30 days haven’t passed yet, I will wait and see what happens, this has been an on going thing since 2020, with the cost of living right now there is not a chance in this world I can afford to pay £160 for a fine over 2 years old and after 12 months of no contact,
the only witness I have is my wife and she has a memory of a good fish0 -
From your earlier posts, you emailed them on 3rd September asking for the case to be put on hold for thirty days whilst you sought debt advice.SOTP34POD said:The 30 days haven’t passed yet...
They have now written to you telling you that they will resume work on this Claim on 5th October.
That's more than thirty days right there.
No-one has suggested you pay anyone anything, have they?SOTP34POD said:... with the cost of living right now there is not a chance in this world I can afford to pay £160 for a fine over 2 years old and after 12 months of no contact.
That's the whole point of defending a claim - to convince a court that you don't owe them a thing.
And if you think that twelve months is a long time, remember they have up to six years to start a claim.2 -
The 12 months was in response to last time they started hounding me, I will send them the same emails as before as this is the second letter of claim I have had from them spaced apart,
last time they had to send me all the evidence from the carpark from looking back over the thread0 -
Wait a minute... that isn't a Letter of Claim that you showed us in your 10:27pm post.SOTP34POD said:I will send them the same emails as before as this is the second letter of claim I have had from them spaced apart,
Reacting to it as if it is a Letter of Claim is not the right thing to do.1 -
Advice to ignore that letter was given already.Coupon-mad said:Ignore it. Certainly never ring that firm!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I had a my second letter of claim on 3rd of September, i have received another letter now with no title which is the one from 10:27 post,
this letter is just telling me my letter of claim is about to expire, I’m guessing scare tactics to try and make me pay up0 -
Yes, that's right. The latest letter is just telling you that the thirty day hold is about to expire and you might want to pay up to avoid the next stage.SOTP34POD said:this letter is just telling me my letter of claim is about to expire, I’m guessing scare tactics to try and make me pay up2 -
But, as @KeithP writes, they did give you 30 days and I don't believe there is an obligation to advise you that they have given you the hold time. The data you receive from submitting the SAR will be more useful to you at witness statement time rather than defence stage. However, if you submitted a SAR on 3rd September, the PPC are duty bound to reply to you in one calendar month (or 30 days roughly) ergo 3rd October.1

Had a reply from them, looks like I’m on hold until 25th , until I get my debt advice.
