Ask for evidence the machines were taking payments because the statement ‘our client is unaware of any fault’ is hearsay and unsupported.
Now there is an important task to do in August:
The final Government Consultation into the level of parking charges, discounts, false ‘debt recovery add-ons’ (that no PPC actually pays)...
...and the Appeals Charter - that should IMHO result in full cancellations not enrich the PPCs by £20 or more because it would just encourage spurious PCNs that should never be issued...
 ... is now open!

This forum’s regulars are encouraging email submissions with evidence and photos, letters attached to illustrate what happened to you and why you are answering the way you are.
Please tell your family and friends to encourage colleagues who have had these spurious PCNs and claims to email their evidence to the MHCLG as shown in the Consultation and not just do the tick boxes. The Government want evidence - victims must give it to them. There's no space between "hear" and "say"; it's one word.SOTP34POD said:I have drafted a response for bw legal

My latest reply from bw legal, I presume I don’t need to reply to this and just await the transaction log? 0 0

So I have had a new email from BW legal this is the first in a while, they have sent me the log for the machine on the day of the incident,
I have had no letters this is the only communication I have had,
Do I respond to this or await something in writing through the post? , 0 , 0

Depends what the evidence log shows. Does it identify the location at the top and every machine in a column on the left or could this be a log from just one machine?
Up to you (not for us) to look closely at what evidence this shows and if you made payment but typo'd the VRM, is that there?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
