Morning all,
I’m here. I guess I missed the flylady bus because I was too busy….flying! I had to get going as the temptation to sit and do “nothing” was too great. Plus I would have had no flying to post 😉.
Rubbish night’s sleep, due to DH going out to NDN’s for a couple of beers, falling asleep in the armchair when he came in, and waking me up at 2am, apparently “being quiet”.
So far, I have:
dropped DD at work, she drove there, I brought the car home;
dusted and vacuumed the whole house;
started cleaning the bathroom etc, but stopped midway for a cuppa. DH was offering to share a cinnamon swirl so it was obviously in his interest that I stopped so that he didn’t have to eat it all 😉
The plan for this afternoon is to paint the ceiling of the small bedroom, before picking up DD. Dropping her off later somewhere over the other side of the county this evening for a meal out. And presumably picking her up even later.
Right, off to finish the bathroom.
Hugs, sticks and spoons available. I’m keeping small sticks to prop my eyelids open. Xx12 -
Late again here, but have tidied dining room and wiped table down, OH has cut the hedges back and I helped sweep up. Cats have been wormed. Lunch eaten, now having coffee with tour de France. WM is on, ironing basket cleared.11

His bike is something like BMW 1000 SS sports or very similar. very big very heavy very fast & IMO very expensive, but he pays for it.Went to a garden centre which is all singing and dancing according to its web page, the plant centre had all but sold out of what they are famous for ~ a good thing in a way. The farm shop was packed so gave that a miss, the gardens and animal farm were packed, you had to pay for this bit so gave that a miss.Came home and went on the beach, that was also packed but the tide was way way out a low spring tide as it is known, so there was plenty of room found some fossils, walked back removing rubbish off the beach and wood collecting for my fire pit.The heavens have now opened.Flying I've errr done kitchen floorBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
Back from a lovely weeks camping, lots of walking and cycling done, and I feel very rested. Dreading going back to work but trying not to fret too much.
Kaz I remember when DS wanted to drive when he wasnt well, I was really nervous about it.
Most of the camping stuff is unpacked and put away. Two loads of washing out, we were in shorts and tshirts or cycling kit most of the time so there isnt much to do.
Need to do some food shopping tomorrow.
Nice to be back home with you all!11 -
Front lawn minced by DH.Morning spent at the studio. Spent ages choosing a new laptop then salesman couldn’t find one in their storeroom so had to start choosing again. I have been saving up and wanted to wait until the new win dows is released but I need to update my skills urgently.
Mr BetM visited for a few bits for DS2, we are visiting him tomorrow.
Petrol bought, I think it was the most I have paid to fill the car up. I’m one who never before has let the tank become less than half full.Garden water bowls washed and refilled. Birdies fed.

Mr N's is a BMW too, R1150R I think. He's nearly always had BMs as he worked for them for many years as a mechanic/service manager. Pleased to report he is feeling fine today, eye ached a bit this morning but already he beginning to see better than he could pre-op.
Bit of a false start with running this morning. Usually Mr N walks up to get the newspaper while I'm out; today I said I would run up to get it, put it through the front door and keep running. So I didn't turn my running tracker on. Got to village shop - it is small so they only let one in at a time - and I was 3rd in the queue. Got in and they didn't have the paper we like, so jogged home but legs felt tired so I just stayed home. However I did go out for quite a long run this evening to make up for it, and amazingly didn't get wet.
Picked flowers and foliage to do church. Drove to next village to get paper and a couple of things from C00p using vouchers. Stopped off at church, did flowers and hoovered.
Spent most of afternoon pruning a large shrub which blocks quite a lot of light from neigbour's kitchen; they are always good about it - shrub was large before their kitchen (an extension) was built. Banned Mr N from anything except watch to make sure I didn't fall off stepladder, but at least I could pass snipped branches back to him.
Sorted out a Zoom meeting with lad for Monday.
Moved some money between accounts.
Had long phone chat with a friend.
Did some washing up and one load through DW put away.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. I ended up mopping bathroom floor on my hands and knees because mop snapped where the Nashe joins the head. I have a steam mop but don't use it if it's a good drying day. Despite the forecast it stayed fine all day and today's forecast is much improved so I stripped my bed. Just popped another load in. Some reports are finished and I made a start on a craft project.
Hope you all all have a lovely, fine day too.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning xx
Yesterday I completed my little list of jobs, then spent several hours riding through the French countryside with 100+ fit young men clad in lycra.... aka watching the Tour de France 🇫🇷 🚵♂️
Today I'm up a little earlier and as well as making my bed and savouring my brew, I've changed the towels in the bathroom, sorted the washing into loads and set the first load swishing.
No fog this morning.
Welcome back YL xx
Have a good day.
