GI sorry your week still seems to be going from bad to worse, best of luck for your brother.
DM belated happy birthday.
Spent much of today in the garden so we achieved quite a lot.
No particular room 'flown', just general maintenance.
Have solved the email problem although not yet the cause, but that doesn't matter for a while, at least I am achieving business emails so I won't be delayed finding out whether uni offer me another contract.
Went for a walk hoping to see the swifts and hare again, but although pleasant, we just saw one dragonfly, 2 swifts and listened to a few more (common) woodland birds.
Contemplating trying to book a few days away on Norfolk/Suffolk coast after Mr N's op - if we've got to isolate, it may as well be somewhere with sea and birds..........however most places are booked up for July, and I don't want to miss any more drum lessons apart from tomorrow's so that limits the days.
Mr N had a phone call from the hospital today, appointment moved from 1.30 to 2pm tomorrow which makes no difference to us. No mention of the Covid test results so assume negative. I've been checking the area round the hospital for possible running routes while I'm waiting for him, but although I'm usually confident exploring when I'm running from home, this is about 6 miles away so I don't want to end up somewhere silly. I'll see how I feel in the morning......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
DS1 has just spent the evening in the pub with 8 members of staff.. the other 4 members of staff are off with positive cases of the plague.. I have a feeling the 8 of these should be isolating.. he has shook hands an dhugged everyone.. we are supposed to be going on holiday in 3.5 weeks time.. I might have to kill him... He already had it last April so in the general rules of this type of illness his immunity will have waned.. I may actually kill him...
WM been run again.. still not possible to dry anything outside.. the sky keeps leaking.
I have a wibbly tummy and so much snot this evening..
Nest time...

Morning all
Been up for over an hour with DS who has a headache. He’s dosed up and laying next to me on the sofa. I’ve set the DW going.
Today will be a slow day.
Hugs to all
Xx

Morning,
Yesterday was a good day, cleared up in the morning, did some chores. Shopping with DD1 in the afternoon, lots of euros decluttered but I did get some long needed new underwear which actually fits! BBQ dinner outside too.
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
DW emptied
Working until 1 then hoping to carry on with the progress at home
Hugs, sticks and spoons to those who need, and keep SMILING

Job number 1 this morning is sniffing out the source of the cat pee smell.. I am hoping it is not behind the tv because dragging that uot to wash the new carpet will be difficult and annoying!!
Girls banished.. nice easy morning with Dot for a change so hopefully they will be on time for school.
So much stuff to do in this bear pit. I have no energy and no motivation.. I need someone to stick a rocket under me.
Kaz.. hugs for you and Mr Wookie.. I hope it all goes smoothly for him
Ma'am I too and desperate for new undies.. other things take priority as always.. It is so hard finding undies which fit nicely.. I think I am just a weird shape because nothing fits right.

Morning all.
(((Hugs)) and coping vibes to Kaz and MrK xx
Hope your DS feels better soon, asb. Has he been celebrating England's win?
I have
- drunk a cuppa in bed and done some reading
- showered and dressed and had breakfast
- S&S'd the bathroom (with a good scrub of the shower and the non-slip mat)
- S&S'd the kitchen: discovered that the spiders had been bungee jumping from the curtain rail and stopped their little game (spoilsport!)
- tidied the LR
- made my bed
- watered the houseplants
- smiled at the still-clear spare bed and printer top (though there is still a pile of ancestors on the floor demanding my attention)
Today I must deal with the bank mandate for church... [puts on armour, ready for the fight]
I should have been going to visit my two little godchildren today for a picnic in the park, and it's beautifully sunny here. However, it rained heavily overnight and for 3 days previously, and the grass is soaking wet - and not much fun for toddlers or us oldies - so we have postponed for a week.
Hope everyone has the best possible day xx

Morning all,
Belated happy birthday to dancemum x
Kaz - I hope all goes well, thinking of you both, here if you need me x
Limited flying anticipated yet again. Bedding changed, washed and now hung outside, although I don’t know for how long. It is grey and dull - the skies, not the clean white sheets! Mended a small hole in the clean sheet as I was putting it on the bed. It has been a niggling job in waiting for a while, so I patched it there and then so that it didn’t get any worse. Very mse - * insert Martin here*.
Paint samples painted onto white card and shuffled around the small bedroom, soon to be study. I think I have chosen, just need to sort that out and get on with the job.
I have a feeling that I may be getting made redundant at the end of the year. Business has been really stressful since January, trying to get shipments in and get jobs done. Less said about that the better, but I don’t think that the Directors are going to cope much longer and might bail out. We will see.
Off shortly to take DD to a hospital appointment. She is driving me, then onwards to big town….not entirely sure how I feel about this….I am driving back apparently as the roundabouts are more scary on the way home!
Hugs to all xx9 -
Thank you for your thoughts x it means a lot to me.
laptop gone to the repairers, who say middle of next week, I have asked him to call me with costs firsts.
so on old laptop, it must have been on during last year as it knows the internet code for here, but it is so slow I think it is updating itself, and the shift key is not working so I yet to work out what is wrong I cannot use the 'at' key........
OH has been for a hair cut
Strange cat in my kitchen last night just before bed time, so a shoe was thrown at it, it then hit in the conservatory and attacked my cat, when to remove my cat who scratched me....my cat is sore this morning and won't let me stroke him,, so he is asleep on the rug.
Washing sorted
