Morning xx
I. Really. Must. Do. Something. Today.
Recently read 'if you believe it, you can achieve it' or some such....but I think there must be a step between believing and achieving because I believe I live in a clean and tidy house, but when I open my eyes: nothing's moved 🤔
I remember that removing one item a day from the ottoman resulted, eventually, in an empty ottoman. But the resulting piles of stuff for the cs piled in the kitchen kind of negated that achievement.
I need a plan. I'm going to make another brew and do a brain dump.
I've made my bed and I'm dressed.
First two notes must be:
1. Drink more water - having a constant headache is not conducive to getting things done
2. Less screen time - my life is spent checking my phone, laptop or endless (mindless) telly viewing.
Let's do this. Brew and toast first though.
Much love to you all

nmm said:Morning ladies, anyone have any magic solutions to remove baked on grease from the cooker top? i use a metal scourer but even then some is left behind.
Pigpen, i hope your day improves
I use a knife, or wallpaper scraper.. and a lot of washing up liquid and boiling water.. just be careful not to press hard and scratch... and get an induction hob.. best thing ever!
Day not looking better yet.. I have bedding and towels on the line.. but it is very polleny so my asthma/hayfever are off so medication and inhalers used..
TD on airing off yesterdays still damp stuff.
2x WM on
Question for those with inhalers.. Is it best t use as soon as you get wheezy to fend off any worsening or to leave and see if it resolves (while wheezing and coughing) ?? I just had it flung at me with no guidance or anything... just a 'use when needed'

Piggers, I try usual medication first like you, then try to drink lots of water for the coughing and try deep slow breathing exercises to take control of the wheezing before resorting to an inhaler. However, pollen is particularly bad at the moment and my breathing has been noticeably laboured.
Dogs are at the groomers so I've taken the opportunity to freshen up stuff while they're out. Seems the washing machine will be non stop and it keeps raining too. I'll combine a dog walk later with picking up DHs prescription.
Potatoes are peeled ready for later. Had a minor panic when I realised I didn't know where DH stored the potatoes but found them on top of the fridge.
Going to have an early lunch now.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Don't know the first thing about inhalers piggers - sorry. Xx
I'm on list! I've opened the kitchen window! I've also WULTD a bowl of pots. What else have I done? Drunk 3 glasses of water. Started a shopping list. Updated the calendar with all the Annual Leave that I've booked. Filed a pile of receipts. Booked lunch with L...first time out out since September! Sent for a booklet on making a will. Found a Brain Dump dated 30th June 2020....it must be an annual thing 🤣 And debated with myself about having a Smart meter fitted...or not....still undecided.
Lunch next. And I promised to visit Dad this afternoon.
Humid here.

I have cleaned the chickens out, filled the black bin with junk and dragged it onto the street and broken down some cardboard boxes.
Chickens were grim so I have now showered and put the filthy clothes in to wash. I also did a bin bag dance so have a full bag for CS. Early lunch now of cheese roll and crisps. Xx
