Hi, -0.5 this week, I too have put on and got rid of the same 2lb over the last month...
Going on a hunt for the new thread.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I also must try harder. I've been gentley climbing up the numbers due to a certain ummmm lack of digestinal transit. More salads required, I might also need to join @ditty1234 with the carrot snacks (not a hardship if that just means carrot sticks which I love). Though I am aware that from a low carb point of view carrots are not best practice due to being relatively high in sugar. Will mix in some celery for balance.
I have lost about 20 pounds so far this year which is grand but I have much more to get rid. I'm thinking myself towards a whole new wardrobe for the spring - though I will be cranky to leave behind my florescent orange jeans as people are work are so bedazzled by them.

Jenny I wish now i was the weight i was as a teenager when I was told I was fat! I have sisters who are a lot older than me so I was put on my first diet by one of them who decided I need it
. I had to look up the pig to twig diet, not one i had heard of
Brie well done on the 20lb loss, you will have to look out for neon colour jeans in a couple of sizes smaller
My final WI of the quarter today and I've managed another -1lb off, not the greatest of losses this quarter but I tried.............
Sometimes we win and sometimes the chocolate wins, we all start off each quarter with such good intentions but what we should remember is lose, gain or maintain we mustn't beat ourselves up over the results, most of us are our own worst critics and it's our inner voices which can cause the most damage to ourselves physically and emotionally.
Looking forward to seeing old and new friends on the new challenge

Listening to Radio 2 while working earlier and heard Baz Luhrman's recording of Wear Sunscreen which contains the following:
But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself
And recall in a way you can't grasp now
How much possibility lay before you
And how fabulous you really looked
You are not as fat as you imagine
and later on adds:
Do not read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly

@Brie I remember that song back in the day - now I feel old
I've had a quick rough count of smiling faces - and I make it around 150 in total - so between us we've lost the equivalent of a fully grown adult4 -
Thanks Brie something we probably all needed to hear at 16Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4
