I submitted all my documents today, I feel they're comprehensive and I'm pleased with the content. I submitted the N244, draft order and a witness statement with relevant evidence attached. I made sure to keep this evidence relevant to the set aside, not the charge itself, as this will come later in the defence.

The only thing I haven't submitted is draft defence - it's been 4 years since the alleged incident, I haven't received any details from the parking company, they've ignored my SAR etc. Therefore I found it very difficult to construct a decent draft defence. It felt like I was literally just pasting dozens of generic bits from other people's cases/examples etc. I wasn't satisfied with the content at all, therefore left it out for now.

The court did say I can send additional stuff in if I want to, so I could draft something still. Not having any details definitely makes it difficult though!

The SAR has to be provided within 30 days so you can definitely shape a defence later.

    Thanks

I'll keep the thread up to date as things proceed. Once I have my hearing and it's successful I'll also post all my statements etc I sent, as they may help others at a later date. I'll also be posting drafts of my defence as and when I'm able to do it.

But they have to follow CPR13 so we don’t tend to see any issues with CCJ set aside because in cases with wrong addresses used, the service of the claim is defective and there is no argument or discretion open to the Claimant or Judge.

I sent my application to: ccbcfees@justice.gov.uk

This was as per the email the courts sent me about fees etc. It stated once paid send application to this address. However reading a few other threads it appears people recommend to use a different one, is that correct?
