I agree get the bank to check the security tapes.
Did you give the cash to the cashier or to the business manager who opened your account?

But yes I agree with other posters - if you pay anything with cash get a receipt!!

It could be that that particular cashier has a cashbox to themselves that is not balanced daily.
You may find (hopefully) that it will be balanced before the till is opened on Wednesday and found to be over.

They phoned me this morning to say they have found the money. Apparently the money was put into a `holding account`?, as my biz account wasnt fully opened yet and no one rememberd to credit it in when the time came.
So all sorted now, PHEW!!!
