Is this where the alleged transgression took place? The image is September 2020 so has Walton Wilkins taken over the car park since then.

It's on a red route so your wife could not stop on the road to pick up your child. What else was she suppose to do?  She had to park.

Hi - yeah this is exactly where the alleged transgression took place!
Has Walton Wilkins taken over in the last twelve months because there does not seem to be much signage? She could not park on the road on a red route.

When you appealed to IAS did they post images of the signage? If so could you post them please?

Hi this is what they posted on IAS.
That's it and IAS thought that was adequate?

If that is the best signage they will struggle in court.  If you put up a good defence this company tends to pull out before going to court. Not always but in several recent cases WW has backed off.

I take it that the school is on the red route?

I am really surprised that the IAS thought that signage was adequate. I would take some photographs of your own showing how poor the signage is.

You could still try to get the ticket cancelled by the landowner. This is more likely if you were a customer of the store.

You will be able to put together a defence for this claim. It will just be a question now of waiting for the Letter Before Claim. You might receive some standard debt collectors letter in the meantime and just file those. When you get the Letter Before Claim you will have to respond to that.

Thank you so much for the help! I’ll definitely not respond to debt collectors and will post on here when I receive the letter before claim.

Have you noticed my new thread, telling everyone to send an email to the Government with your evidence?

Their final public consultation has opened today. Don’t miss doing it!  Don’t go away...

One of their questions is about no stopping zones being able to charge £100 I think.  Your evidence can show that PPCs are setting up ordinary streets as if they are no stopping red routes and using non-facing signage that people can’t see unless they stop, park, get out and read it.

IMHO copying red route lines is copying statutory ‘moving traffic’ offences and isn’t parking management at all. Has no place for a private firm to copy.

Jolly good!  You know from the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread to spare us any discussion about that piece of litter.
