Unless you are having medical treatment, highly likely your claim will be closed and if you don't provide the evidence requested, they will remove the housing costs and create an overpayment for the period you have claimed it.kayshaw555 said:Will do that poppy 12345. Thanks. will update in my journal that "i have been out of country now for more than 28 days. Pls take a note. I had to travel for emergency family medical reasons and will be out for long time."

What you got for the period and what you were entitled to, the difference is the overpayment.kayshaw555 said:

They will likely recalculate each assessment period, which will show an overpayment.

Just to clarify, are you a tenant or a lodger if you share the house with her, as that is two different sets of rights. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.4

OP states here they live with their LL.kayshaw555 said:
yes. and £900 is inclusive of all the charges. She even cooks food some times and i don't pay for it. I believe as all her children have left her she wanted someone to stay at her place. 11 yrs ago i was just paying £500 per month. It a 4 bedroom house with garden and just me and her living.poppy12345 said:£900 seems a lot per month. When you claimed UC did you report that you were living with your landlord?

How, when and by whom were increases to your rent advised to you? Any correspondence you have about that may help to prove the duration/nature of your tenancy.kayshaw555 said:

Ok so far it's been established:You're a lodger as you both live in the same property. You've lived in that property for 11 years.Your rent is £900, but that includes bills. You're 42 and the LHA rate is £295.49.
You've been outside the UK for a month and will not be returning soon.
You can't find proof of rent eg lodgers agreement or letter confirming increases.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
