Update from eon that meter reading which i took the picture of yesterday is my solar reading? I don't have solar and if that is true then why are they using that reading as my billing reading? They say ihd are inaccurate and not to trust that reading.

Just been looking at meter and here are the readings and button presses.
Time-date-credit mode blank-standing charge blank- total act import 24539- rate 01 act import 21191-rate 02 act import 3348- meter balance 000
Eon are saying total act import is from my solar I do not have solar. Have i gave eon the wrong number and it should have been the 21191 reading as that would be more inline with my final BG reading.0 -
Ignore what eon have told you as that's clearly rubbish since you don't have solar panels.
BG appear to have been billing you for rate 1 only and not the total. Take some more readings tomorrow and see if both readings have advanced. If they have then you need to let both suppliers know you have an economy 7 meters. If only rate 1 advances then this is the reading you should be giving to eon and not the total.2 -
That seems far and away the most plausible explanation. I have no idea how you are supposed to know that and you had said earlier that you could not find any other non-zero readings on the meter which had me confused.mikejay said:Have i gave eon the wrong number and it should have been the 21191 reading as that would be more inline with my final BG reading.

What we don't currently know is when those kWh were used. Was the smart meter fitted while you've been in the house, or did you move into the house and inherit the meter from a previous occupier?N. @mikejay I think you need to query this with BG. If BG have already billed you for the 3348kWh you can then raise it with E.on?
