Its not being petty... If you have a read at some posts in the site feedback forum you will see a lot of newbies complaining because the forum is confusing yet they don't read rules or stickys and add to the mayhem themselves. I mean come on.. there is a post on the grabbits asking if a DS is region specific and they have been a member since Sep 2004.. surely they could get to know the board in over 3 years. People are posting asking where to buy stuff and starting polls for things as well all because they cant be bothered to do a little searching or finding the right board themselves.

People then post with the first line "I don't know if this is in the right place but" and then when you tell them its not they get abusive.

There are posts on the grabbit board that shouldn't be there yet when I posted a limited stock item from argos on the grabbit it gets moved to the Argos board... Does this mean there is now no such thing as a grabbit deal from ARGOS anymore????

What we are really needing is a total overhaul of the board with more specific sections so there is no confusion.

I have defended the admins and mods many times in threads over the past few weeks but it seems they are getting very inconsistent now.

Look, don't feel bad about it, it's not the end of the world....but there is also absolutely no need to be facetious about it either.

If you have a request like wanting to know where to develop photos, then you should start the thread in the I Wanna Buy It Or Do It forum, or better still, do a search to see if anyone has started a thread already on cheap photos and then add any findings to the end of their thread (I'm sure there are loads!). The search button is at the top with the Quick Links.

Heres yet another one. Some days abet for a few hours there as many wrong threads as there is proper grabbits.

1. Either some people are blind
2. Lazy
3. Want a quick response so post in grabbit forum

By making posts like that genuine grabbits may drop to next page or lower down the forum

Well I for one think the I wanna buy it or do it should be merged with shop don't drop....you get very little response on the I wanna...and it is clear to see that people do on here, after all you only really go on the I wanna if you want something. I go on sometimes if I'm bored and often find I can help people so what about all the others I could have helped????

I don't disagree but do worry that the wrong posting will also end up in the grabbit section. A couple have already. The shop section is becoming redundant from its original purpose due to wrong posters

I disagree. I think they are, and should be, totally different. What doesn't help matters is that "I wanna..." is hidden away on the "Home, Work & Play" board. Maybe it should be grouped together with "shop..." and "grabbit"?

My personal favourite at the moment is newbies posting in the wrong place, STILL getting answers but as they are NOT what they want to hear (i.e. John Lewis do not have to buy you a new house and car because you think you paid too much for your tv) they then whinge like flip about how we're not friendly, the world is evil, it's not my fault etc etc.

Mods please feel free to move if this is in the wrong place.

Umm I think if there wasn't so many boards it wouldn't be so damn confusing as to where to post!!

But really guys, life is way too short to be worrying about a thread in the wrong place.
