Not pedantic at all!1505grandad said:Pedantic observation - should this read "in accordance with" (if not yet filed):-"The claimant should have been aware of the resident's rights and ability to confer their rights to visitors in according to the resident's lease before commenting operations on the site."0 -
Just a couple of questions. (Defence was submitted on time and email confirmation was received, soo all good on that front).
I have been doing a bit of reading to prepare me for the next step when I receive the 'Directions Questionnaire' from the CCBC, so I looked at the N180 Form available to d/load from the Gov.UK website.
I was looking for my local COUNTY COURT in my city, I can find the City's Crown Court. And the City's Magistrates Court. But nothing called the County Court. The only one I can find is the 'Civil & Family Justice Centre' & their website states that they deal with adoption; bankruptcy; childcare; domestic abuse; forced marriages etc - but no mention of parking issues.
Is this likely to be the County Court? Thanks

You could 'phone the court to confirm that it is the correct place.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Good. Now go back to the twelve-step guide in the template defence thread to refresh your memory on what to do next.
This should be the N180 form where you tell the CCBC which court you want the case to be transferred to. The court should send you one, or you can download one. Fill it in then send it off. Be warned that the claimant may send you one as well, part filled in. Do not use it.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

I noticed that the N180 firm layout has slightly changed from that template defence thread - one additional question added and that has changed the format. I think they are asking why I wish to have an in person hearing as opposed to letting a judge adjudicate based on paperwork submitted.Fruitcake said:Good. Here I'm gonna say that I feel as though I will best present my arguments (and counter-arguments) and evidence in person, face to face and offer better explanations which may not come across simply by looking at forms0 -
A quick search finds the new N180 question discussed dozens of times. Added in June.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Err... it's only 30 days since that letter was written.nero33 said:
It will not be deemed served on the Claimant until 24th October.
That letter tells you the Claimant has twenty eight days to consider your Defence. What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like. Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?3
