I am up early for DD's club and then will drop her at her dad's. What he can't do the full day with club is beyond me. Anyway, I have fitted some blinds in the conservatory this morning. They are cheap from the Swedish shop but block the sunlight, which is what I need.
I managed to get two hours of free electricity today starting from 1pm so have got the bedding in washing ready to dry in the dryer during free time. I also plan on charging the car, my laptop and doing the dishwasher.
I am also hoping to have a little sleep as not been sleeping very well. I will have a shower, wash my hair and put my pjs on later this afternoon and relax with a film before DD is home. Hopefully all bedding is dry and back on the beds by then, so I don't have a huge job to do later.
I did shopping yesterday. I do need to do a little one tomorrow as DD has the snack pots that you can only get in one shop.
I am a few weeks away from my birthday. So much has happened since my last birthday. A complete life change in so many different ways.
Enjoy Sunday x

Well today felt like I was in a fast moving sketch. For the two hours, I think i probably used every electrical appliance.
I did two lots of bedding, one normal washing, charged the car and dried every single piece of clothing either on the line, dryer or the heated airer.
I also charged a number of appliances and put the dishwasher on. I don't have a quick wash on the dishwasher and shortest is around 3 hours, so I put it on earlier to ensure the heating and most expensive part fell in the free hour.
I cleaned up, cleared the table and made the beds again. Then put all the washing away, emptied the dishwasher and emptied all the upstairs bins.
Had coffee with my sister and had just settled down when DD arrived home over an hour earlier than the 5pm she should have.
I have now settled for the evening with a glass of prosecco and a jigsaw whilst watching Harry Potter on the TV. I need to update my diary but might do that in the morning for the plans I have for the week.
Hope everyone has had a lovely Sunday.
We Had a lovely sunset here.
Just beautiful to see.

Another week has gone by so quickly.
I have spent a lot of time thinking this week and trying to make some decisions that work well for me and DD.
DD hasn't settled well back into school. I have had a lot of calls and difficult mornings trying to get her in. Hoping we get her back into the routine.
I have decided to spend the next six months working heavily on my PhD and getting it finished as starting a new role will take me away from this and I am in my final year.
My gas meter is not sending in readings so I have contacted them about that as otherwise I will be hit with a huge bill. I have another free hour on Sunday, that will be another hour of running around getting everything done and charged.
I spent a few hours doing some crafting this week. Hoping to book onto a Christmas fayre and sell my items!
A couple of things I made.
I have 11 bookings on the wreath making. That might increase though, as I haven't advertised it fully, yet.
Had a scammer try my new card again yesterday, so the bank has cancelled it and I am waiting for a new one. I knew this one was a scam immediately, he was not as sophisticated as the other. I gave him no details and they tried a £250 transaction. It was declined as my bank recognised it as a fraud attempt. It would have been declined anyway as I didn't have that amount of money in my account!! Just the hassle of trying to organise a new card again. The bank were really thorough with it being my second in 6 months. We know exactly which place has been breached and how they have got my details. The bank knew it wasn't me instantly. I am a creature of habit and they can see through the algorithms my patterns. I am also not on any of the phone banking systems that have your cards saved either so that you pay instantly. That is why I am annoyed. I have tried hard to keep my bank safe.
The furniture refund hasn't arrived. I have chased it and for some reason it wasn't processed. It has now been and hopefully here on Monday. The bank confirmed that it was pending and have marked it a genuine transaction so I get it.
The tax refund is probably 6 months away!!
Hope everyone else is having a good Friday.
