Had a productive day today. Studied first thing and then I had to pick up something from a local shopping centre.

Had a wander but only picked up the item I needed. Just before I went, there was a voucher for my birthday from a chocolate shop so I picked up the free item. It is my birthday a week today.

Managed to do two loads of washing and drying and got my sister's birthday present ready. We were born 5 days apart (obviously years difference!).

I then added some extra felt to the shed that has been leaking at the bottom. Needed the special screws and picked them up today.

Also had a little time to relax before picking up DD.

was it expensive and did it work in terms of cooling? Did one unit cool the whole house?

Hi, it cost the equivalent price of having a boiler fitted.

My downstairs is okay. The liviing room, providing doors are closed, remains really cool and manageable even in the hottest temperatures.

This unit will cool all the three bedrooms upstairs. I will need to keep doors open, but that is a small cost. I could have had multiple units in each bedroom, which is an additional cost but in my house this small unit will do.

It will also heat in the same way on a time where I need a quick blast in the morning, this is the better option than trying to warm the whole house with heating.
