You’re sounding a lot more positive so that’s good to hear 😊 Hopefully the wrist is healing well.

It's hard to know in cast as it's protected. It's aching a bit.

I'm just trying to be positive where I can.

  • My wrist is still in cast. It's being reviewed next week.

Money is ok. I'm not driving but need more food being at home and the cost of being at home too.

Payday is Friday and then at the end of the month I get my additional job pay. Unless, they pay before Christmas but I'm not sure.

Should also get my backdated pay. That will mostly just pay for Christmas.

  • Hi, All,

Things haven't been great. The wrist has soft tissue damage so.in a splint.

I sadly lost my auntie on the 18th. I think I said she had a terminal diagnosis. I didn't make it in time. I was 10 minutes too late and in a taxi on my way when I got the call. I'd been with her all day too. The unfortunate part was that I had to leave as my mum broke the news that a long standing friend who I referred to as auntie was not going to make Christmas. I went to say goodbye to her and that meant I went home and didn't stay. Sadly, this lady passed last night. She treated me as a granddaughter and when my own nana couldn't make my wedding, went in the wedding car with my mum. I've always thought of her as a nana figure. To lose two very close members within a week has been devastating. DD doesn't know about this needy from last night. She'd be devastated and today was already hard.

Of course things are never straight forward. My auntie that died last week cut out some family members in July when her daughter died. Some people have listened to his story and sided with him and are now making all sorts of things up and sending intimidating messages to various people. I Just wish they would let us grieve. They don't know the full truth and telling it isn't our place. The messages received aren't nice.

I wish life would ease up a little.

Wishing everyone a peaceful time though. Today I did dinner and my closest relationship were at peace and quiet and chilled. We have a few battles to fight, but we will get there x
