Why do we have to scroll past a pointless display of "badges" in our profiles to view posts we have commented on? In my profile they fill the whole screen!. What purpose does it serve? Every time I log on I have to do this to follow threads I've commented on. I've asked about this repeatedly and never received any acknowledgement from mse that they even understand what I'm talking about.

It is now impossible to find relevant prior posts as I cannot search within a limited space and cannot insist on "all these words" nor order the results by anything except the random order they are presented in (which is not even most recent first but does appear genuinely random!)
When in a thread, the same magnifying glass symbol search box, searches the thread you are in.2 -
Thanks for the link.
I've said that I will, just as soon as I have time. The form's restricted to 100 words, so that would need 6 of them ... so I'll do it when I have the time.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets1 -
Just scrolled through the sixteen pages on this thread and my observation is that six people have said that they like the new forum.Hmm ...0

I love the new design and everything about it, but why do we have to scroll past a pointless display of "badges" in our profiles to view posts we have commented on? In my profile they fill the whole screen!. What purpose does it serve? Every time I log on I have to do this to follow threads I've commented on. I've asked about this repeatedly and never received any acknowledgement from mse that they even understand what I'm talking about.Whist I am confused why this display of badges is where it is, a bit like an unused chair in the middle of a room which everyone has to walk round but no one thinks to move, can mse tell us what badges are available and how to get them. I'd love to get as many as I can. Hopefully mse will find time today to answer my questions before closing this thread (which really does feel like having a door shut in your face) later today. If you cannot find the time mse to answer today don't fret, I'll ask again on Monday.3

Wow thats great. Although its confusing that the highest rated, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile/DavidHolland3103 has less badges than me. It also doesn't really explain how to get these badges. If its ok with you I'd prefer to wait for mse to explain both how to get these badges and more importantly why they are where they are in everyones profile. I fear that if this becomes a discussion solely about badges rather than their placement in everones profile they may delete the posts without answering the main question, why they are where they are which is pertinent to this thread.

If I said that I thought the badges were a pointless waster of space, would that be considered impolite?
