We had a charger installed at home by Rolec. It cost us £199 3 years ago as our was a second hand car and not a new one. For new ones I think installation of charger is free upto a certain cost (£350)

Ooh I want to get an electric car too. My ex has a Kia e-niro and loves it. I was wondering about the Renault Zoe, which gets good reviews and now comes with the battery rather than leasing it. But realised that unless I want to take out finance I'll just have to wait for a couple more years - then can hopefully pick up something good 2nd hand.
    Choose kind:)

    Morning and happy weekend.

Just so I don’t forget, an impromptu bunch of flowers to account for yesterday as a thank you to someone and £75 extra paid off the CC! Cannot wait to see that balance gone!!

Back at some point soon x

It feels great when the balances are going down on the CC’s. Well done on your progress.

    Morning to anyone here :)

Im not the best at posting/keeping up to date from a friday through the weekend as im generally more occupied with mum duties.

That said, i like to catch up on a Sunday night and then write on a Monday so here i am :)

Nothing eventful and therefore not a spendy weekend just now, i somehow gave myself food poisoning and was sick as a dog all night Saturday so yesterday was a total write off. I'm still not 100% today, strong smells are making me queasy and the fact chicken is planned for dinner probably isnt helping! (Im sure it was chicken that made me poorly however im annoyed as there seemed nothing wrong with it but its the only thing i was the only person to eat so ...)

Anyway, plans over the weekend didnt really happen and i got my 1st NSD yesterday which was the silver lining; as well as not really doing many of the things id originally planned to meant not a lot of funds were spent! Wahoo.

Hubs car was serviced and MOT'd friday and there werent any extras which made me happy, however we still need to be on track this month so as to not have to take from the garden fund to pay for any of the bill. Its been taken from there for now, but will the intention of replacing it come the end of the month should all be okay; im holding out as i think the quote will basically utilise the entire pot! That said it'll be such a worth while purchase and will feel so great not to be paid for on a CC.

Speaking of which, none of the payments ive made yet (DD inc) have been applied to my CC#1 balance yet which is annoying however i know even with a bit of interest there will be <£80 left to pay once theyre cleared. Thank you @Loveactually and @anjyeah, i cant wait till its gone! I already know there is £20 from bang tidys ive been putting away as well as a few bits of bobs dotted around which should take the balance to approx £50. Its then my goal to work hard between now and July pay day to clear that off.

Including today, i will have 20 days to make the £50 which is only £2.50 a day so going to try and do that. I know 100% that if we are careful this month and stay within budget there will be enough to pay that anyway but that would mean i wouldnt have it for the garden pot so i just need to crack on!

Bullet journaling fell off the grid again last week but ill restart this week and try to remember it doesn't matter if I'm not using it every day, its supposed to work for me!

My training/exercise took a back seat last week and im certainly not up for anything today but will make a plan and do a bit of something this week.

I made @WinterWarrior garlic flat breads and some oaty biscuits also mentioned on her thread last week, both went down well at home although the flat breads werent flat at all (they looked like crossaints!) and the biscuits had a touch too much bicarb for me but were nice and easy to make. They were both written in the recipe section of my journal so its still getting some use!

Hub starts new job today and so his last weekly pay will arrive this week, heres hoping he has a few holidays owed and they pay those too. Maybe a bit of windfall....

Right better do some work. Bye for now.

I wrote down the biscuit recipe but don't remember a flat bread one, I will have to go back and check.

Oh, you're so close to covering that card! I have about £185 on Paypal credit which needs to be paid next payday to avoid any interest, I'm going to try really hard to get it down to £100 by then. Good news about MOT and fingers crossed for some xtra in hub's pay this week.

I hope you feel better soon!
