You will never look back once you own a electric car. I drive roughly 24 miles everyday to and fro from work and bought a basic Nissan Leaf in 2018 (2015 model - used car) and I am so glad I took that step. Before that I used to spent £120 on fuel every month now mostly £20 a month for charging which we got installed on our driveway.Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)2

Even the service and MOT are also cheaper as they are not many parts just battery. Since I bought my car I did not have any repairs just annual service and MOTSaving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)2

I loe my electric car too, been driving electric for almost 5 years now. There are so many options now, especially if it's not the only car in your household. Renault Zoe are excellent value for money I think, that was my first electric01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Seems I need to figure out the practicalities of it then!Great day yesterday, busy with my daughter but got paid, moved lots of money into various pots and went and did a massive replen food shop! It was actually great!Listed a few more things for sale today, still tinkering away.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

Happy Monday to all.
Todays got off to a good start - i am feeling productive which is a start; after a lovely weekend i was actually happy waking up to a monday.
To start the day, i got out and ran this morning then did a little strength work at home before work.
Ive set my new bullet journal up for the week but using my own simple style of it basically being a book of lists, using a journal my late mum bought for me last year. It gave me the motivation i needed to buck up my ideas and get back into my routine led life.
Hub informed me last night of the fact his car was (VERY) overdue its MOT and sods law it also needs a service (again annoyingly a full one as the previous 2 were minors) so its unlikely we will have anything left over this month after that. I have already squandered away some pennies to start on the garden with but will possibly have to use some of those too dependent on how bad things are with the car. Heres hoping for just the basics and no tyres etc else i might lose the plot.
Note to self; Julys budget onwards needs a pot for the car!
With that in mind i think anything extra i make from sales/surveys etc in July will go towards the car or replacing the garden fund rather than the CC as i have already paid an additional £150 off that in June.
Im loving OLIO at the moment, we have a food waste hero in the next street to us who does regular weekend slots and im so excited that i can save waste by eating more food! Its such a good job im still feeding my daughter else i think id look like a Tiger loaf!
Have a great day allFollow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

All this running…I feel exhausted 🥱😁
well done on all your hard work. I too got the light bulb moment when I realised I was paying for things I’d had or forgotten about ages ago.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@jokono I do love a monday run, i always feel SO much better. @WinterWarrior even just a morning walk serves the same purpose
I know the feeling well of procrastination however my role currently doesnt have many deadlines or much structure at all really and ive realised i need it. I plan to have a chat with my (kind of) manager to day about it but trying to find the right way to describe said feelings without sounding like im not working hard is a challenge!
The FWH's are the people who have volunteered to collect the foods from the supermarket or wherever and who list it all for collection. I live in a little village about 8 miles from town (although only 4 miles from a T3sco) and so really wasnt expecting to see much on there but ive picked up a box of stuff for the last 4 weekends! You could maybe look to see if there are any collection slots within your area and become a FWH if you have the spare time available for it, i think you get dibs then on what you pick up to and would certainly be helping your local area if there isnt much around by way of listings.
@WinterWarrior I read once that an accountant gets the most job satisfaction of all jobs. They stated that this was because the role always involved problem solving, finding answers or making something balance and it gave such a euphoria moment when you got to the bottom of it. Whilst i dont believe the statement to be true having worked in finance for the last 14 years -i can really relate to itFollow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

I'm almost done with my task, but popped in for a quick break
I'm a programmer (sort of) and get the same high after getting the code right for a complex problem. I'll look closer into the FWH, thanks!01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
