I read once that an accountant gets the most job satisfaction of all jobs. They stated that this was because the role always involved problem solving, finding answers or making something balance and it gave such a euphoria moment when you got to the bottom of it.
That is absolutely hilarious! As an accountant, I can confirm that it definitely does not give the most job satisfaction of all jobs!  I do like the problem solving bit of it though..
Isnt it so funny!  I quote it often when my team have balanced their accounts or investigated something and figured out whats gone on... but its more tongue in cheek for sure!

Maybe it was actually a joke since everyone says accountants are boring and i just didnt get the joke.... Oh the Irony.

I love accounting so much that I teach accounting to adult students. I get so much job satisfaction seeing students getting qualified and moving on with their careers every year

Maybe as a side income you could help me get through my last 3 ACCA papers before the end of this year LOL...

Ive set my new bullet journal up for the week but using my own simple style of it basically being a book of lists, using a journal my late mum bought for me last year. It gave me the motivation i needed to buck up my ideas and get back into my routine led life.

Yey to the bullet journal! I'm pleased that you find something that works for you. At the end of the day, it's the perfect reminder of what we're doing. Good luck!

    Happy Tuesday.

My purchase of a new coffee grinder arrived this morning which i purchased with inheritance i was left by my late mother earlier this year. I thanked her as i opened it and now i feel i have something which she would have truly loved herself and i can feel joy using each and every time, a perfect reminder of her. Also the coffee was absolute perfection.

    Todays MS things:

Bang Tidys (this is my version of the tilly tidys but i dont know a tilly and calling them bang tidys made me laugh!)
Washing on the line later today
Eating from home, i have some pomegranate which i will add to some cous cous and tuna mayo to use up
I really need to pop to town today and get to a bank to deposit cash before its whittled away for parking or similar!
Drink free pret coffee whilst i am there

Nothing much at all to add really today, but the cupboards and fridge are full of food so im finding it harder to meal plan! Does any one else struggle with that if there is more food?!

    Happy Hump Day!

Having a good week so far, im sure it'll all come crashing down come Friday when we learn of the total cost for Service/MOTing hubs car!

We have a quote for the new fence which i have then challenged and asked them to price match elements of to somewhere else and waive delivery. Fingers crossed as its already a little less than i expected. It feels nice to know its affordable this month!

Ive ordered the demo of the electric car - just need to do some research on charge points and grant available/additional cost of running it.... a little clueless if either @Loveactually or @jokono can provide any insight i'd be grateful.

Hubs got a free bet last night, didnt match it (despite my advice) and won £60! Found it quite difficult not to argue that it belonged against something else, instead of him buying a take away but i decided i'd allow the take away and request the left overs as his contribution. Id be met with acceptance if its a compromise so that'll do for now :)

Lots of compromise going on around here as well

Which car is it? I got a free charging point installed at home with my first car but now you can only get up to £350, I think most installers include that in their pricing. What is the range of tha car and how many miles will you drive per day/ week? I think you said it was going to be used for communting, are there any chargers at work? If not maybe ask if they can install a few? POD have business solutions but I'm sure there must be others as well.
I have a Hyinday Kona now with a 250-280 miles range and a 20% to 80% charge is around £5 on my home charger. The super fast ones I use on long distance trips are about double, maybe slightly more. There are options in between as well. The only other cost I had in the last 5 years was the annual service.

POD has quite a lot of free chargers in Tescos and Lidls, not very fast but you could top up while you're shopping.
