Happy Tuesday
Im about to use the dreaded C word here so im sorry but .... Christmas. A number of years ago there was an OS thread for Christmas related things, getting ahead, making things etc etc. Does anyone know if such a thing exists as i have just worked out in a 'back of a fag packet way' how much Christmas will set me back and im not OK with it, i'd like to keep cost down/make things myself.
It was about 8 years ago that there was one, and maybe im a little too early but hoping something similar exists!

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!
Today started off well, eventually. After an early start on account of my daughter waking at 5:20am, after breakfast we went for run (She is almost 1 so was in the buggy) and took the dog with us. We got home in plenty of time to have a little play bebfore going to Nursery so a great start and its really brightened my mood.
A few money saving things:
I fixed the washing line - so no replacement needed
Ive repinned the cucumbers and tomatoes so that they continue growing well - I get so excited about growing my own that ive actually enquired about the village allotment in the hope i could support the owners but also grow more!
Washing is on the line with another load in the machine
Hubs penultimate wage was in from prev employer so thats made the account look tidy
Hub switched bank accounts and got the £ reward which came in yesterday and this has been shuffled away for now...
Not very money saving:
Hub is due another week+ in holidays which wasnt accounted for so i have very itchy feet about continuing with the garden plans!
The remaining fence arrived this morning (there wasnt enough to finish last weekend) and so it'll be done this Saturday
We are off to the beach Friday and so whilst we will be taking a packed lunch it goes without saying that we will be having at least an icecream if not a beer in the afternoon!
Really need to start raiding YS items this next fortnight as its my daughters BBQ('s) soon and safe to say we dont have quite enough yet to feed everyone...
Anyway, off to catch up. Still thinking about Christmas somewhere in the back of my mind, amongst other things MS... I suppose having the right mindset is a start.Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay
