Morning xx
Thank you iona and Jil - I managed to get a drop in last night and again this morning 👁👁 xx
I went to bed at 9.30 - tuckered out after my busy day! Parrots were working and I must have zonked out as soon as I hit the pillow.
Up early too but my eye is uncomfortable rather than painful unless I try to look left - that's ouchie! The white is red, and my pupil is still huge. I'll be taking it easy as instructed, but I have made my bed so that I could post.
Have a good day. Love to you all

Morning all, glad you're feeling better Round. Eyes drops get easier and by tomorrow you will have it down to a fine art.
Tuesday disappeared to work and long phone call to DD2 about potential appartments and how to cook her pork.
Great success Monday evening with OH as we went through a couple of files in the cabinet and got rid of stuff. He was very motivated and happy with a bit by bit or dot to dot approach rather than facing the whole thing just attacking bits. How are sad are we that we enjoy seeing the bins fill up and the charity pile grow.
Home all day today so need to update spending and savings sheets and change the sheets in the spare room as friends arriving tomorrow.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Shower wiped down after I used it (new daily habit I'm trying to create)
DW unloaded (by OH as always)
Hugs all round, look after yourselves and don't forget to SMILE

Morning all
up, showered and fed.
Washing on the line
DW emptied. WUALTD. Recycling taken to bin.
Frog munched - have applied teak oil to my patio table and chairs. Brush now soaking in turps substitute; along with another brush from the decorating box as all the fibres are 'welded' together. Patio set now 'drying' on garden.

Take it easy Round I have been thinking about you. I would be useless with the eye drops too.
Wide awake at 5.30am so got up at 6 and went for a little jog, such a beautiful morning. Worked 8.15am to 3.15pm in the office without a break so I could be home early.
Some paperwork for DHs business done, DW emptied. Quick phone call to my brother for a catch up. Will put a load of washing in next and think about food.
If I sat down I would sleep I think, which is a bad idea.11 -

Done a bit of weeding/couch grass management on front
Sewn buttons onto baby cardigan so that's ready to send to the mum-to-beDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Fayolle, your DD's willpower amazes me xx
Hope you can get your OH the help he needs, kaz xx
Congrats on the sales, pigpen, and here's to the SENCO's departure.
Natty, I meant to say yesterday how pleased I am that you got your PIP.
I am tired tonight. In two days I have tidied up the garden and cleaned almost the whole house, as well as doing various bits of the usual admin and dog walks. The pots on the decking are now filled with fuchsias, petunias and lobelia; the courgettes look very happy in their enormous trug full of home made compost; all the little plants that I have bought this year have been potted on; and the lawn is mown. Every room including the utility (RoD) has been dusted/polished and hoovered/mopped; there is no dog hair on the carpets, and no dog - I took her to kennels this morning, much to her disgust. I've also done 5 loads of washing today and decluttered a cardiology appointment at which I learnt that among other things I have high cholesterol and am pre-diabetic - oh the joy (not)!!!
For the next few days I shall be cheering you all on from the sidelines, as we are off on our holibobs tomorrow. Once the long drive is done, I plan to relax and enjoy myself: but although I shall obviously have to go steady on the fish and chips and cream teas, I'm not planning to cut them out altogether. It's been a stressful couple of weeks months and I need to recuperate. A Flymeet is planned

Glad your eye is improving Round
Yesterday, after going swimming, doing a bit of gardening then settling down to catch up with some reports, I made an unwelcome discovery......having planned to spend the weekend filling in all the tender forms for another uni contract, I noticed that the deadline for uploading all the documents is Friday at noon. EEK. Finished one report and had a late night......
So today, went to Body Pump as booked. Started going through documents.
Took friend for a walk in a local nature reserve as planned. Quite a learning curve for all of us as sadly she is newly visually impaired so I tried to remember my VI training and guide her round tree roots, onto seats, warning about holes/inclines/grass/boardwalk etc. Lots of sitting listening to birds, followed by an outdoor coffee in the woodland; altogether lovely. We are very concerned about the steps and patio at her house though, very uneven. She is meant to be getting some sort of advisor so hope that happens soon.
Spent rest of day listing, copying, writing a whole range of stuff for the job. Realised to my horror that 2yrs company accounts have to be submitted and I haven't started my usual 'tax return' spreadsheet yet. Luckily I've been doing it enough years that I copy a lot of last year's headings and formatting, but it is still time-consuming sorting out a year's worth of bank statement entries and adding up how much I have spend on resources/petrol/CPD etc. At least in a Covid year there weren't so many transactions so I should be able to fish out all those related to the company income/expenditure and put that in a table. Next major panic is a "Business Continuity Management Questionnaire" which is pretty incomprehensible and irrelevant to a sole trader. Not sure how happy they would be if I just wrote "I rely on Microsoft Office for all my data so it it breaks I'm buggered. And as there is only me running the business, if I die then no more work will be done". I may need to modify those statements for a job application.......
Have great hols Iona.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11
