ASB I hope you manage to find some support locally.
Much of night in the WAC, very annoying as I thought I'd sleep well having done that job application, but busy brain syndrome wouldn't turn off. As a result I couldn't face a run this morning.
Met workplace student for her lesson, went very well.
Stopped off at church on the way home to collect last week's flowers. Picked them over and can probably use a few tomorrow. Picked a load of foliage and put it in to soak. Oasis in to soak.
Wrote up this morning's session.
Started another report.
Walked round the garden with Mr N making a list of what needs doing, just so I can tick things off while he's staying with his brother. Waved him off, got a text 3hrs later to say he'd arrived.
Paid cc bill.

Morning all
Sorry for my lack of posting, difficult week, have been following you all along though and am sending hugs, supportive vibes, GWS wishes, sticks to those in need. Keeping my spoons though sorry x
Weather is going to be warm so I’ve made an early start;
bedding stripped and in the wm now
Tubs watered
litter trays emptied, washed and refilled
shower cubicle scrubbed while I was in there, will do the rest of the bathroom shortly
cuppa slurped!
right I’m going to get on, back later when more progress has been made!
take care xx7 -
Morning,
Hugs, especially to ASB and to BadCat xx
Very little of anything done for the past couple of days, apart from being busy at work yesterday. But it was good busy, so not stressful.Today I am a taxi to get DD to and from work, then taxi to get her to her friend’s this evening. DH has disappeared to the allotment already, and wants me to take up the beans etc that need to go in, as he can’t hold a planting plan in his head for more than 2 seconds. And, subversively, I think he is trying to get me to find my allotment mojo back. I can’t leave DD home alone, so now she is in work for a few hours, I theoretically can leave the house at that time.
The house is a tip, and the floors are disgusting. The plasterer arrives on Wednesday morning for the rest of the week, so maybe there is little point in vacuuming today. I still have an ironing pile to clear and a load to stick through the wm. Need to finalise the Mr M order for tomorrow as well.
Take care all, stay cool today and drink plenty of water xx9 -
Me again
washing line now full so can’t do anymore until that dries lol, that won’t take long though so next load on the timer and will start itself off soon.
DW loaded, run, and emptied, also hand washed a load and left to dry
office and spare room dusted, DH did the hoovering and also did the stairs
en suite finished off
bathroom scrubbed
drink break over now, going to get on with some more, I want to be finished by noon!
quiet on here, hoping everyone is ok xx8 -
Morning xx
I need to pick up the fly-reins again. A gentle flutter should be ok.
I've made my bed. That's all I did yesterday so anything else today will be an improvement.
I'll have a shower and get dressed, then feed the birds and put out the rubbish and recycling. It's a start.
Love to all

Fayolle.. DH just wants to spend time with you.. go to the allotment.. he may open up about his feelings if he has busy hands .. You have so much going on give him the time and the allotment the time and your relationship the time and yourself the time.. The house will be there later and you can point DH at the mop!
Up, showered because I smelled like a bear.. and need to bobble to the shed to get a box of cat food..I have a very thin looking cat in my garden I need to give biscuits too.. I can leave them out and the flies don't like them.
Washing and kitchen S&S and cat breakfast then I might look at the wallpapering.. or I might not!

Hi all
Just checking in, the jab hurt, my arm is very stiff and sore, but if that is the only side effect this time I will take that. Whole house hoovered with the cordless vac and I have swished and swiped with some Mr Sheen. 2nd load of throws/doggie blankets in, bathroom delimescaled, kitchen bin bleached, all clean washing put away. The bathroom floor needs a wash, and the utility sides look grubby.
Started out in vest and shorts, then added a sweatshirt, and now thinking about changing into jeans. The sun is out but the breeze is chilly! Was hoping to sit out with my book later.10 -
2 washloads on line.
DW emptied.
Some pots washed...
Spent about an hour on my second Lego build ready for training next week, it is a robot *shudder* but at least it looks like a machine and not an android. I daresay my dislike of robots is connected to my dislike of animated things which look human and waxworks...

Good progress Kazwookie and Round.
A better night's sleep so I managed a decent run this morning, had a slight slow down via the paper shop on the way back but still ran home so I'm pleased.
- Did 2 flower arrangements for church; we have the Archbishop visiting so I hope she likes them....beautiful iris from Mr T.
- Flew round the church, brushed pews (they have long strips of carpet to sit on, so brushing is the best way - then swept the floor). Sprayed a load of furniture polish around and rubbed it a bit. At least it will smell clean. Vacuumed. Huh. Maybe I should say that I spent a good half hour with 2 vacuum cleaners, both of which would work for a bit then drop stuff everywhere. Got very hot re-tracing my steps and lugging the cleaners around (one is a heavy duty Karcher), checking bag wasn't full and thinking very un-church like thoughts.
- did a bit more of a report and will do more later.
- watered greenhouse
- put a few geraniums and small stuff in a big pot; desperate to have everything where it is going to be for the summer and not cluttering up the greenhouse and patio area outside the greenhouse.
- did a small amount of drum practice
- picked the first 6 strawberries which I will put in my fruit salad later.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11
