Help please. How do you put an eye drop in your own eye? Is it actually possible? I now have a very wet cheek!! Consultant said my eye would look a mess- he wasn't joking! But no double vision which is a good start. And the parrots eventually worked- after an intense couple of hours where they didn't.
DS is going to visit the sick tonight bless him. I'm not asking him to put a drop in- he's dyspraxic. I'm not risking it. If he accidentally knocked my eye it could be disastrous.
Thank you all again.

Round, sit on a dining chair with your head back. Put the drops in the inside corner of your eye (next to your nose), then tip you head towards the bad eye so that the drops run into it. Blink but try not to screw your eye up!10

Well done, me hearty Round, you are a brave pirate xx Take it easy and stick to bossing the rest of us about. Iona sounds like the queen of the eyedrop, so follow her instructions.
Good news for Dot, Piggers.
Lovely afternoon spent with DD, although the dipstick in the only clothes shop we went to left the security tag on the top that DD bought. Grrrrr - a 50 mile round trip to take it back to get it sorted will have to be had. I have bravely phoned to complain as soon as we got home, as I won’t be able to get back there for a few days.
Pizzas made, dinner done, pack up done, kitchen tidied, garden watered.11 -
@roundtuit
I have had a few eye surgeries, pull your lower lid away from your eye using your fingers on the top of your cheek, where its soft. Look up and pop them in the pocket of the lower lid. that's how they showed me at the eye hospital. Have you got the eye drops that need to be kept in the fridge? If yes you will be able to tell they are in.
The swelling will go down fast, next week it will be loads better. Best of luck x8 -
How's the peeper Cap'n Round?
I want to go to bed but alas have had to report the neighbours to the police.. again... they will be so sick of me they will do something.. What is wrong with them? Why do people feel the need to spend their off their head on drink and/or drugs?? I honestly don't get it? If they have that much money and life to waste surely there are better things to do with it.. especially when it is in a room by themselves.. seriously lacking in many things I am certain..
Email to council sent.. regarding fly-tipping, pot-holes, and the super weird people living a few doors up.. there are about 20-30 people living in 2 houses.. with about 9 children.. the tiny girls (2-4ish) run about in the street naked.. and yesterday the little boys (4-7) we playing chicken in the road and the youngest one was almost hit by a car.. it's not normal.. the adults of the households don't even seem to care or be bothered.. They are tapped. I am genuinely worried for the safety of those little ones.
I despair at the state of the people of this country.. I am just confused why anyone would want to live like most of these people are doing.. I am sure they wonder the same about me.. lol .. Why would anyone want all those cats?! and children?! haha
I'm going to see if the candles and fan have cleared the filth from my room enough that I can go to bed.. I am shattered... did I not say that this morning?
Nighty-Night.. birthday cake in the box.. help yourself..

Morning all,
Up early as usual with this lovely weather. I've been given 6 hens and some ducks, all of which are arriving next weekend, so in true frugal living fashion I am trying to source a bigger run second hand. I already have my free plastic paddling pool set up for the ducks 😀.I am planning on a long walk this morning after the school run, then home to shower and do some gentle flying. I need to raise some extra pennies quickly so will no doubt be looking round for things to sell too x11
