Yes it pops off.. but it's not a foody crumb so wouldn't crush out.. it was a piece of plastic but white like the key mechanism so was almost impossible to see. OH has sorted it now thankfully.. so I can type and not have to stop and check every time I hit an i. He is now taping up a chewed mouse cable.. he has his uses lol.

Hello everyone. Yes I'm still here.
Have had a string of short weeks/long weekends which on one hand is lovely but does make the short weeks very busy. I normally have 3 weekdays to myself but recently have been down to just 1. This week is a bit better but good friends arriving on Thursday evening and staying until Tuesday, there here to move their son out of his rented flat and the furniture will be stored here. Will be great to catch up but means I need to get room sorted out for them.
Today is kitchen day here, I had started before I saw the list. A few bits have been thrown out, miscellaneous bits put away and surfaces thoroughly cleaned. Dusting and floors still to be done but need to think about lunch as OH is working from home today and we're hoping to get out for a walk before the afternoon calls start.
Bed made, clothes picked up
Shower cleaned whilst I was in it
WM is one for the 2nd time,
So see you all later.11 -
I'm dressed, made my bed, fed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling, and WULTD a bowl of pots. Bowl has been refilled with pots. I've also recycled the covers and binned three more videos fer-ling 😊
I needed a bag to line the kitchen bin, so I dragged one out from under my kitchen table, tipped the contents into a box, and now the bag is lining my bin. And I've found my skipping rope! Not that I'll be skipping until my eye is sorted. Simpsons playing cards will be counted and if it's a full set DS can have them.
Teeny tiny steps are still steps 🙃

Just nipping on with some good news, well good news for me..lol
Just had my PIP letter come through this morning, after them only having it for 3 weeks.
No face to face and the same as it was before the review, except it's now due to run until 2027. Can't believe i got it for 6 years especially after the horror stories you hear.
I suppose there are some good assessors out there..🙂
Now I can breathe again. Xxxx

Natty.. that is fabulous.. We had Moomins awarded until she was 16, then she refused to go for the face-to-face so she lost it all.. I am so pleased I know how daunting those meetings are. Boog made me go with him because he couldn't face going alone then they refused it and he sunk into the pit of despair and refused to do the appeal. He has massive social anxiety, aspergers, depressive disorder and diabetes.. He has already been signed off one job due to his diabetes.. but again he is too naxious about the face-to-face he won't reapply. Poor LW gets herself in a right old tizz over them too.. so I am so pleased you avoided it for a long time too!
Right..
Mondailies..
Kitchen is the first job.. it is an absolute bear pit following Twinkles birthday party on Saturday and 3 food shops.. I will get on that now.
I have a fair amount of laundry to get through but the bouncy castle needs to be put away before I can hang it out and OH is at the gym.. I am helping with his bench press form from my chair.. no googling.. I just know this stuff having never set foot in a gym in my life lol.. Theory I can do.. practice.. no thanks!
My new sandals I bought for summer are not wide enough for my fat feetI love them but I just can not get my trotters in.. I hate my feet.. They never fit in anything. I will slap the sandals on ebeast and no doubt end up in Ev@ns for ugly ones again

Excellent news Natty! So glad your OH has weathered the weekend Kazwookie. My father had a MacMillan nurse and she was practical, very supportive and helpful. I've always been very grateful for the help she gave me.No-one is to apologise for blowing off steam on here about anything, ever, and that goes for Narco (who has been missed lately), and Fayolle in particular. We all need to do it sometimes about something and whether it seems, or might appear, trivial or not isn't relevant. Venting means me don't carry carp around with us, which bogs us down..After several months of feeling constantly exhausted I've now worked out the cause of the malaise, dealt with it, and feel like a new woman. I would have said so four days ago but I was worried it was a fluke but it seems I've cracked it and that feels fantastic. So I've had an amazing morning solving irritations that have been building up around the house for months, done a bit of Flying on the front steps to get rid of green algae that builds up over time because of all the plant pots, and topped it off by managing to gather all the information needed for my tax return apart from one date, which I've requested. There's a mountain of work that still needs to be done but none of it's daunting, it's just a case of working through the volume now. I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get any energy back at all.The niff has gone from the synthetic pillows after several days of airing which I'm really pleased about, and I think I've only got another two bags of linens to bring down before I can get to the big boxes of stuff that haven't been opened for several years so I feel some serious *flingage* may be very close. Very exciting!

I got the DW and both WM's loaded..
I then decided the back room was disgusting to while the DW and WM's finish I dealt with the vileness in there.. I have a 'homeless' coat stand and a coat rack.
Cuppa and back to tackle some more of the kitchen.. I have no even looked at my bedroom which I REALLY wanted to get done.. It is never going to be done is it?
But.. How the heck is it 2pm???

Sides cleared.. I am going to give them a slop over and I can do food.

Hairy Biker's Mushroom and Chestnut Pie made. There's a lot of butter in it one way or another, plus a fair amount of garlic and red wine. Should taste all right then!Another load of laundry put through the WM, this time gardening gloves, dog towels and other sundry nasties.Belovéd managed to lock me out when he went out to tennis while I was talking to a neighbour (and yes, he did know I was out there) so he owes me one. Just as well I leave a key with another neighbour who happened to be in.Hair style photos found while I was searching for a P60 so I can now book an appointment to get this mess sorted out. It's had eight weeks to grow out so although it's still too short to look the way I want yet, she can shape it so that it grows back into the style I like. If she can't do that she's not getting any more business from me, friend or not.I've been hard at it since 8.00 am this morning, so I'm going to have a bit of a tea break and do some crochet now for a bit. I haven't been able to do that amount since last June - a whole year of no energy. Such a relief it's sorted, and that I've had such a productive day.Better is good enough.11
