He just messaged to say that it was unlawful of us t sell the car with incorrect mileage (it isn’t incorrect! Some of the MOTs from years ago are, though. The most recent ones are all correct)
he also says that he is going to have the car delivered back to me tomorrow for a full refund! It would just get towed eventually, if he parks it on our street?Or is there any way I could still be the legal owner of this car? I notified the dvla online when I sold it so surely not?0 -
If he thinks it unlawful, he can take you to court. He's scaring you.
He can bring car around and park it on the street, it's not your car. There's no way for him to force you to refund him money, except harrasing you and scaring. And if you fold, it's your own doing.
Under any circumstances don't accept car back of do refund. You have no idea what happened with the car between you sold it and now. Half of the parts could be swapped.

If he does, will the car have to be left on the street?
Make sure it can't be left on your driveway.
Don't engage in any way if they do turn up and call the police if they try to make a scene.2 -
Definitely not taking the car back.1

The car would have to be left on the street. No access to any driveway or off street parking1

If it was unlawful, he shouldn't have bought it. He's talking garbage.
If he turns up, call the police. Don't bother engaging.3 -
..probably his last roll of the dice....HOLD FAST!!!
.."It's everybody's fault but mine...."2 -
Personally I would notify the police now, this is harassment and intimidation. This surely is getting close to be a police matter.
Personally I would say message me again and I will be reporting to the police.5 -
