So having the availability if FTTP at long last is a god send but choosing a reliable cost effective isp to supply the speed is a nightmare.
Which isps do you FTTP guys recommend, cheers.
p.s. don't want to spend more than £25pm and NO silly 24 month contracts

Most of them seem to be 18-24 months although Zen do a shorter period but then want a bigger up front payment 9and a bigger monthy payment) to cover their cost. I dont think you get a free router either for contracts less than 12 months.
TBH if its OpenReach FTTP then you might as well pick any of them. Have a trawl of the internet to see whats available.
Dunno about anyone else. I'm with BT but thats because they were the only ISP who were offering it at a reasonable cost when it became avaiable to us just over three years ago. There wasn't a proper process in place to move ISP's 18 months ago. so I renewed with them rather than having to close my BT my account and then trying to sign up with another provider. Hopefully that situation will have changed since SKY and TT now offer it.
BT have just mucked up their SmartHub 2 with a new firmware upgrade so I've just bough myself a replavcent third party router to tide me over unit they hopefull sort it out..
TBH I think you might be pushing your luck to get FTTP for £25 (although I'm happy to be contradicted). There will still be a line rental componet in your costs because even though it's not copper the equipment to provide it it still has to be provide, installed and maintained.
lets find out what otheres have to say.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1 -
There's currently a deal for FTTP with BT at 150mbps for £29.99 on a 24 month contract which looks like the best I can find so far. But I don know offers pop up from time to time like this one.0

Hyper Optic, if you can get it, I believe they do a FTTP starting from £22 for 50 Mb I had a letter from them a few months ago saying that they are thinking of installing it if there is enough take-up and it doesn't need a phone line.Someone please tell me what money is1

I have BT Fibre, I have the 300Mbps service, although could have the 900Mbps if I wanted, I pay £37.99pcm with no additional costs (eg. line rental) on a 24 month contract. I got £120 back through QuidCo three months after I signed up and a £100 pre-paid card "reward" from BT a month after joining making the net cost £28.83 pcm.1 -
I have BT FTTP 80/20 is plenty for me .Non discounted price is £34 pm .1

I'd jump at that option.0 -
