I’ve been reading along and enjoying the various chats here :)

I had a forerunner and whilst it was big I loved it. I lost it in the house and searched properly every day for about 2 weeks and could not find it. I treated myself to a vivoactive 4s and when It arrived, I was pleased it was smaller and prettier than the FR. Then the very next day I found the FR when not even looking! I was so mad 😂
but couldn’t send the new one back as I liked it too much.

I suspect, that even if now you could repair your phone for less than the cost of a new one, you’d have the new one anyway like I did with the watch 😂 enjoy it!!

I too just took out that Santander card for the BT and I also think our planned DFDs are close to the same so I’ll be here for the duration :)

Garmin forerunner - that takes me back! I still have mine I can’t part with it. I wear a Fitbit luxe now, but I’m still lazy.

Glad you like your new vac. I got a dyson cordless about 3 or so years ago and it’s a game changer. Like waving a magic wand!

I’m going to follow you because a) we owed similar amounts b) we are repaying at similar rates I think and c) you mentioned fasting and I’m thinking if doing that too.
    Hello Paws! 👋
I've been following your diary but I don't think I ever commented, I'm more of a lurker. I hope your mum is ok!

Haven't run in a long time, I've had a cood for like a month, then covid, then another cold and now I'm spending a lot of time sewing, I just don't feel like running.

What kind of fasting are you thinking of doing? I started after seeing Michael Mosley 2012 documentary on bbc, nowadays I'm mostly skipping breakfast and having a late lunch, but I did get into a habit of bedtime snaking 🙈

Thanks for bringing yor lists over 😊

Lol, of course that happened, Murphy never sleeps. 😆 And yes, I do love my new phone, it takes amazing photos.

I've seen the vivoactive 4 and venu in the shop when I went to get the hoover, I don't remember seeing the 4s. I noticed the 4 has a bigger screen than the FR but is less chunky. The venu was smaller, I really liked it but it was £100 more than the 4. I've just looked it up and I  can see discounts, but I really don't need it now. I'll look for it after I paid my loan 😀

What a glorious spring day! 🌞
I took the dog out to the park, now I'm in a friend's garden, she's away and I came to feed the cat and let her out for a bit. I have coffee and I'm enjoying the birdsong away from my noisy family 🤣🤣🤣

Spent £21.50 in the hobby place this morning 🙈 £11.50 for yarn and £10 for two bundles of vintage patterns ❤
Came home to find a thank you note with a £20 note in from a neighbour. I took up a dress for her and told her I wouldn't need any payment, but she's too lovely to accept that. It was a nice surprise 😊

Aww that IS a nice surprise!

I think I’m going to have to give in and hit up the big river store for some yarn, I was planning to raid the charity shops next weekend to see if any had bags of oddments but I’ll run out of useable stuff in the next few days now and suspect I’m going to be spending a lot of time crocheting this week! Might just see if I can get some balls of cotton stuff for dishcloths and leave the throw project aside until I can get the oddments I think.

I don't know what kind of cotton you're after, but have you discovered Drops?

Last few of weeks have been very spendy with buying Easter eggs, Easter food - so much food! - so much so that last week, instead of resetting my weekly budget on Friday I had to do it the Monday before. I thought it would take longer to recover from that but I'm happy to report that I still have £5 left, I was able to stretch the last weekly money to 10 days. I need to buy some food today so I will start using the next week's £100 today but I'll try not to go over £10.

We're off to Chessington tomorrow for Boy1's birthday. I still have £63 in the Boys pot but that might not be enough, we'll eat there and I guess that will be just enough for the 4 of us. I have just received the £140 switching fee from Santander so I'll use some of that in the gift shop, aiming for no more than £40.

Our council said we should get the £150 rebate by the 22nd, it didn't hit my account yet, we'll have to see if it comes tomorrow. I'll keep that and the remaining Santander fee for a holiday we're planning during May half term. I'm not happy we're going to be spending money but my OH is right that we need a holiday, we haven't had one in a couple of years and we're in a position where we can pay upfront, we wont get into more debt for it. Now we just need Her Majesty's service to speed up with Boy2's passport application, we've been waiting for almost 2 months!
