That's why. I have a hunch your existing vouchers will be replaced with higher targets as the points stack up.

I've got a voucher for a free vegetable so cannot complain about the app changes.

Not had the Lidl ones but the Aldi ones are very good and very similar to the branded ones.

Just binned most of an Aldi net of Easy Peeler oranges from South Africa, variety looks from the label to be "Clementuz".

With just one exception they were all hard dry flesh and white pith, with thick white skin on the segments. Terrible.

Had some really nice Lidl smoked Wiltshire cured back bacon this morning, very nice flavour, no water came out of it. I also had a guilty treat at the weekend, one of their "speculoos" doughnuts, very indulgent.

I read an article on my Apple feed that listed 10 good buys at Aldi - the list included ripe fruit (noting that ripen at home fruit can be very hit and miss when it comes to ripening into fruition!), Barber's cheese, pickled gherkins, and noticeably recommended avoiding the sourdough bread.

Moser Roth also came out high on the list. Whenever I have been persuaded to buy it - regardless of flavour combination - it has bloomed white and tasted stale. I think its a big con.

I can't comment on Moser Roth specifically as I haven't tried it, but in general chocolate bloom is due to poor storage conditions (temperature and humidity) rather than the product itself. It's possible that the back of house area of your local store is not a good environment for chocolate. This will probably be exacerbated as fewer people will buy it and then it will sit around for a long time.

Also, not only is the range of Moser Roth chocolate quite large, but there are other own-brand brands of chocolate as well.

Personally I've always found Lidl & Aldi chocolate to be very good - from the value level right up to the posh chocs. The Lidl value dark chocolate is very nice, considering how cheap it is.

These are the Moser Roth I have left, but I tried all favours (admittedly from a single store) and they were all the same. I am using them up in baking where the taste can be somewhat disguised:

Our Aldi has had a change around and all fruit and veg is now in the first aisle. The second aisle has completely changed round and the shelves seem more compact and higher. It is weird because despite all these changes, I can't actually see what they've expanded on product range wise. Maybe there is some trickery going on with my mind but I imagined it opening up more product ranges but can't tell it has done.
