I saw these for the first time in my life yesterday. If its heat they like I have learned my lesson from the time I bought Lidl bourgainvillea in the hope that it would flourish, it of course didn't survive the winter 😒.

@Rosa_Damascena I did have one of these struggle through the winter (must have been mild) and try to grow the next year, not very well. I've also had them self seed a couple of times. I treat them like they are annuals like so many things we have here that originate from much warmer countries.

I stupidly bought ome more strawberries from Lidl - again all fur coat. However their easy peelers are sweet and delicious.

Correct, and kudos to Lidl for including various fruits in their free veg promotion.

We have been getting a lot of little offers on the phone app (we both have one) and today was good - cashew nuts and a lovely chocolate doughnut, with crumbly bits on top and cream in the middle. I think Lidl bakery is really quite good.
