personally I'd much rather they discontinue an item than replace it with an inferior product in the same or very similar packaging.maman said:That's true @Rosa_Damascena but sometimes when they can't find a supplier at a price point they can agree on, or some other reason, they discontinue the item.
Only the other day, DH was bemoaning the demise of the Thai fishcakes they used to sell in Aldi years ago. ☹️4 -
On the subject of fishcakes, I bought Cod fishcakes with a mushy pea centre and salt and vinegar batter exterior from Aldi a few weeks ago. They were delicious. I drowned them in additional malt vinegar and some tartare sauce.

Ahh. Nice find. Shame - they were delicious. Thanks.2 -
Lidl has currently got some very tempting biscuits in its Italian week.
Can anyone tell me - is the apple cider vinegar included in the £100 spend / condiment treat? No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.2 -
Went to buy the big square crumpets at Aldi this morning...none at all, and very few of the Village Bakery small round ones either...plenty of more expensive Warburton ones though.
Anybody else missing the big square ones?

The app will tell you. If you click on the coupon, then scroll down, it should say "item number". Click on that and a list of the available products is shown, along with the item number and description. Some of the descriptions are a bit obscure, I usually check the item number against the shelf labels when I'm not certain.Rosa_Damascena said:Lidl has currently got some very tempting biscuits in its Italian week.

I thought I'd ask in anticipation, I'm still £4 away from target.olgadapolga said:
