Couldn't get my favourite onion rings (Iceland luxury) so tried the standard Lidl ones.
Absolutely excellent, uniform size crispy batter and really good quality onion. Product held together while eating and wasn't greasy.
The freezers were freshly stocked with Christmas items a few weeks ago, I picked up one of these:

The peach/vanilla was divine and I will be back for more!
Lidl alcohol free cider (strawberry and lime). Almost undrinkable from the fridge, slightly better at room temperature but generally unpleasant taste. Balance of apple, lime and strawberry totally off with my palate unable to decide what the taste actually was.
Then to add insult to injury I reacted to the small alcohol content, which hasn't happened with Old Mout AF or Koppaberg AF (two flavours including a divine strawberry and lime which has a strong strawberry and apple balance with a hint of lime).
Didn't like Lidl Deluxe Pigs in Blankets crisps. Very strong bacon flavour which left an aftertaste all day. I'd had 1/3 pack, binned the rest and the other unopened pack will be donated to a food bank.
Tesco Finest do a crinkle cut PiB crisps which are lovely!5 -
I found the same with this product - just gross!KxMx said:

6 months ago I would have hoovered up the ice-cream, the flavours sound lovely! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I react badly to nearly all ciders now, whether flavoured or not KxMx. For me it's the sulphites - they leave me in a desperate state altogether. Same with a lot of wines sadly. Doesn't happen with spirits though ha haa!"One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate change policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world's wealth." - Ottmar Edenhofer, IPCC economist, interviewed at COP162

You might be fine with organic wines... otherwise you might need to stay with the those spirits! Rant Alert !!!!
Aldi have Crofton Lap trays instore currently at 6.99 gbp ,bought two yesterday for aged dementia stricken parents they loved them BUT the price label/ barcode label etc IS NOT easy peel spent nearly an hour peeling , washing up liquid soaking the labels and chipping at the residue with finger nails till the labels et al came off.Damaging finger nails and surface of tray.
Wrote to Aldi customer services and got a reply from their representatives based in the Philipines who said bring them back to store and exchange them !
Aldi should do better than pre written standard brush off replies !
Rant overSuccess is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.Thats what I keep telling myself :-)2 -
WD40 is pretty good at getting them off.1
