I think people are stocking up for Christmas early this year.3

My understanding of it is that a women's size 1 is the same as a child's size 13 so a size 0 would be the same as a size 12. But the difference was that a child's shoe is a sensible bit of footwear (flat pump or laced brogue) and the women's size 0 ones were usually brightly coloured patent leather with a 3 or 4 inch stiletto heel.briskbeats said:What's a size 0 shoe? Too right. And for very good reason, thanks to Brexit.maman said:I think people are stocking up for Christmas early this year.
Brexit is done whether we like it or not.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Many people here (esp the elderly) did vote Brexit for one thing only - immigration. They weren't concerned with price rises, supply issues etc. Which we have experienced.-1

I agree. It was a populist campaign based on half truths and lies. All the warnings about what would happen to supplies were dismissed as Project Fear. Now it’s all actually happening, the government has the outright cheek to tell us that it was expected, and it’s just part of the process.briskbeats said:Many people here (esp the elderly) did vote Brexit for one thing only - immigration. Ever been had?0 -
As Rosa said, Brexit is done like it or not - airing your personal political views on here isn't going to change that and could get the thread shut down, so can we please stop!6

Back to the subject. I was in Lidl this morning and one of the super weekend offers is black bin sacks. There’s a limit of 6 per customer.
A man tried to buy about 20 packs. The cashier said it’s only 6. Man had none of it and manager had to throw him out.4 -
