Umkomaas, unfortunately, it was cash, it was an old cheap car, I get for it 300£ so there was no transfers

You do not need any proof. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I think the 'advice' is coming from the claimant's solicitor - but I could be wrong.nicestrawb said:

This is so so simple to sort out and yet we are on page 5.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Wait, you sold a car and don't know who to, and now you are responsible for every speeding fine, Council PCN and unfair PPC 'parking charge'?Mat1601 said:And another thing is that I don't know the address of the new owner just his name. So when I complain to DVLA that they still sharing my details they said that I can not complain about that because I am the last known owner.
How are you going to sort that out, going forward?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Has the car been taxed? Does it have a current MOT?

Maybe you could tell us how, as I see it no one knows the address of the new owner, the OP has told the DVLA he sold it but hasn't a clue who too, it seems like the new owner hasn't told the DVLA either, how do you get out of this so simply?

Maybe you could tell us how,
Firstly I would ask my MP to help. Then I would WRITE to the DVLA, (no emails or 'phone calls), I would then read the newbies until I fully understood the process, and do as much research as possible using a search engine. This is not quantum physics.
as I see it no one knows the address of the new owner,
I am sure the DVLA do
I would then wait for further developments. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
OK so.. I sent V5C with all the details address name etc. After few months I get the first ticket so I contacted DVLA and inform them what is going on, they said that they didn't receive anything. So I informed them about the date of selling and the name of the buyer (I took it from Facebook) but I don't remember his address right now.0
