  • Thanks :)

It's certainly nothing to worry about, I have an excellent relationship with the manager I am meeting, so I am confident that the meeting will prove productive.

I've got 2 of my eBay items packaged up and ready to go tomorrow. The third is a guitar, and going to Northern Ireland, so I need to sort a courier out for that.
  • Another of my items has now been paid for. :)

I have just withdrawn £273.04 from PP to my savings account, to join the bings winnings already there. :D

When this money clears my account (usually 5 working days, in the past) my balance will be £316.08!!! I've also set my Quidco payments to be made into this account.

Next step is to find some more bits to stick on eBay - I may need to have a sort through my book case and DVD collection ;)
  • Apologies for no update yesterday, I wasn't feeling too good (cold coming back again :( ) and didn't have much to contribute.

    Anyway...

    ...Woohooo!!!!!!!!!!

I got accepted by AQA :D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm absolutely over the moon!!! This really should mean that my move to the new apartment is well and truely on :T

I should also hear within the next week about my possible promotion at work :D:D:D (and, on that front, my meeting with the manager went very well :) )

And, to top it all off, one of my second chance offers on eBay has sold and been paid for too :D:D

So, apart from the cold and the fact I've had no voice all day, today has been absolutely fantsatic...
  • Regarding the meeting with the senior manager, we spent a good hour together today discussing my concerns...and I am pleased to say that they are all being addressed.

I'm not the only person to have raised concerns about the manager in question, and I get the distinct impression that those "higher up'' are getting tired of it - it's obvious that things just aren't working out at the moment.

She has also agreed that the complaints the manager seemed to have against me are farsical. So, all in all, a very constructive meeting. :)
  • Another £63.55 has just been withdrawn to my savings account from PP.

This brings the total to 379.36. :D:D:D

:T Great news for you today marc. You have done so well in such a short time and everything seems to be going in your favour. Hope your cold gets better soon. Take care X

    Thanks Ellidee. :)

What started out as a pretty poor week, has actually turned into something amazing! :D

I've just been to Asda, for some cough mixture and cold/flu capsules - and whilst I was there I got 4 bottles of Pepsi for £3 (that's 8 litres!!) and also treated myself to some nice, soothing bubble bath - so I'm off for a soak shortly. :o

If I can just shake this cold, and get my voice back, I'll be on cloud nine :D

I'm hoping it goes over the weekend, as I've got Monday and Tuesday off work to go looking at flats/houses - and don't want to be looking around whilst feeling like this...
