If you have already received a court claim then it is too late to use the, seeking debt advice, put proceedings on hold, request.

    Hi
Apologies I've been away and I'm just playing catch up .. I have just looked back through my emails and I don't think I have asked for the case to be put on hold for 30 days ...
Also I have not heard back yet from the CCBC as I cannot access it online due to it not accepting my password etc so had to email them instead, also the data protection officer only emailed me back on Friday with the personal data.

     On 14 May at 6:54PM I wrote...
...you have until 4pm on Monday 14th June 2021 to file your Defence.
In that same post I also wrote...
Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
    ...followed by...
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

When I wrote that, you had over four weeks to file a Defence.
You now have less than twenty minutes to do that.

But I spelt out exactly what your deadline dates were. You didn't have to think at all.

You are now in a race.

At any time now the Claimant can seek a Default Judgment against you.
If you file your Defence before the Claimant seeks that Default Judgment, then you go through to the next round.

However, if the Claimant gets that Default Judgment before your Defence is filed, then they win the race - it's game over - you lose.

The good news is that nothing untoward will happen before 8am tomorrow morning.

Suggest you file your Defence before then.

Come  it's easy, there is a template defence that will take 30 minutes to edit.

But you will lose everyone on this thread if you keep asking us to confirm what we have literally just written.

I gave you a link to the second post of the NEWBIES thread in my post on 14 May at 6:54PM .

    I wrote there...
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.

I've now pretty much rewritten that 14May post.
    :)
