Currently going through the switch process, the "My Tariff" part of my account shows a standing charge of 27p a day, should be 20p as per my welcome email! You cant contact them, they dont respond to webchat . Hopefully its a glitch.0

Why don't you call them? I call them quite often, at least once a week to chase my ticket for faulty gas meter, and they answer pretty quick. Sometimes immediately.
I'm planning to call them again today, to learn how to add my electricity to gas account. Can't register with the same email again and don't want to create new email account just to register on their website. I use one emial for all bills.

They replied to my complaint and said the reason the standing charge was 27p was because there was no DD setup. Despite me setting this up when I joined, my online banking shows an active DD to them. They told me to resubmit a DD request and to let them know when done.
However the only way to do this online is to contact them via their form. I will try and ring tomorrow if no joy.

If anyone wonders how to see gas and electricity under one logon on PfP: you have to call them and ask them to merge accounts. Then you register again with newest account number and will see both accounts as separate billing items.

I'm looking to switch to them from Avro... anyone using their variable tariff's? I've always gone fixed before - does the rate change frequently?0

Now at the end of my second month. The billing / meter reads system appears to be totally incompetent. The meter reading request was showing on the system when I logged in (14th), so readings were entered. It also failed completely to take a no used gas reading (summer....), which I submitted via email.Estimated bill was promptly produced today, ignoring everything entirely.....Looking at the thing more closely, it's dated to the 16th, and any reads outside the window (16th to 20th) are ignored completely. To add insult to injury, the system rejects a lower current read than the estimate.Whilst the estimates were close enough that I'm not bothered, I *really* don't want to know what it's next trick is going to be....1

I have recently switched to PFP from Avro. Looking at the meter reads section of my PFP account it appears that PFP are able to take remote readings from my Elster AS300P electric and Elster BK-G4 E gas meters installed by Scottish Power in 2016.
Edited: to show that both meters are now being read remotely.0 -

I've not yet seen any remote readings from the Elster BK-G4 E gas meter that was installed at the same time.
Not sure who to contact, PFP or Avro!0 -
Sending referral links is now against forum rules. Also others who have used them have found they can’t use them to join on the cheap tariffs.0
