PfP Energy just popped up from the MSE Energy Club, any feedback? Is it a very new supplier? I'm on Symbio so be interesting if it IS cheaper.

They're great. Switch went faultlessly. I send meter reading when requested and get an accurate bill a few days later. That's all I require of an energy provider.

Been with PFP for about 5 months. They email me once a month for meter readings then I log in a few days later and get accurate bill. Much better than some of the other suppliers who bill 6 monthly which can lead to unexpected large debts

They used to be known as Places for People.
Steer well clear of them, they give false E7 quotations that make Symbio seem like saints.

Having praised PfP for trouble free service, I didn't get a meter reading reminder email this month. I logged into my account, when I realised it was that time, and there was a copy of the reminder in the messages section but nothing reached my email account. I checked spam and junk but nothing there. Anyone else not get a reminder?

I also don’t get any emails or reminders ( though they’re on my on line account ) but I did  get a reminder by text. I’ve also found I’ve been double billed after receiving my final bill from my previous supplier. I don’t know who is responsible.

I've had emails, up until this month. I'd better set a reminder on my phone for next month.

I was going to go with this supplier until I noticed a smart meter would be requisite.

They will install the smart meters if you don’t have them, and it is a requirement on their cheapest variable tariff. They do offer other tariffs ( more Expensive) that don’t require them.

Doesn't say anything about  smart meter on my tariff. Not that I'm against having one, of course.

You’re probably on the same tariff as me the May 22 fix with no exit fees which didn’t require smart meters. However their Green Variable s2 tariff does but it is much cheaper  than the May 22 fix and well worth considering.
