tboo said:pigpen said:The 'free' plates we were given.. the matching bowls are £16.25 EACH!!!! The plates themselves are £12.36 each!! I am grateful.. I have decided to ake the old ones out of commission now so I can identify where there is a void.Amazing plates and colour Pigpen.Forgive me if I am reading it wrong, but going through that link the prices for the crockery are for 6, not individual.
those ones are cheaper.. but they were the closest to the look of mine.. the ones in the link are a different make to mine but the colour doesn't seem to be available any more.. it is a darker blue or a duckegg whereas the ones I have are the same as that picture.
OH is on with the cat trays and I get to do food.. Twinkle is asleep in the middle room in DS1's bed.. it he wasn't home tonight I would leave her there.

WM x 1, pegged out and almost dry when I brought them in because it had started to rain. All clothes sorted. One rugby shirt returned to Belovéd, one rugby shirt that could be binned because it really is past it will go to the CS for rags, three boxes of clothes to donate and one box going up to the attic because until I lose about a stone they just won't fit no matter how much I love them. The wardrobe is looking sparser and there was plenty of space in there already, there is now masses of space in my two drawers and I've realised I can look a bit better by not wearing the sloppy clothes I've been wearing continuously throughout C19. I need to smarten myself up a bit for my own self-respect. I like the things I've kept and everything that made me look like a sack of last year's potatoes has gone. It's amazing how much you can let go when you're in the right mindset.Well done on getting your boxes sorted, Pigpen. Rather satisfying, isn't it.Better is good enough.7

Oh Kaz, really sorry to hear this, we have far too many poorly loved ones in our Flylady family.
I survived today, DS went in on his own in the end, they said that if he was really worried he could ring me and I could go in, as if he was going to admit that he needed his Mum. Anyhow the bloods are good which is brilliant news although he is slightly anaemic. The bone marrow activity is still there, but they think it is unlikely to be Lymphoma. Back in 12 weeks.
I made the mistake of telling someone at work how stressed I was about going to hospital with DS and wished I hadnt, she made me feel like I was making a big drama out of nothing.
Great news for DD Mademoiselle, and Round good luck for tomorrow I will be thinking about you.
I am done with today.10 -
Evening all
Kaz - so sorry to read this. You know we are all here for you xxx
YL - been thinking of you today love, hope you’re okay this evening xx
Fayolle - you and your lovely DD are never far from my thoughts xx
Sooo... work done, DW done and unloaded, swimming lessons done, quick cricket done, dinner cooked and cleaned up after, hens cleaned out, some admin done, black bin put out for collection in the morning (overflowing after my various bin bag dances this last fortnight).
Tomorrow we have no activities after school, so shower and hair wash is everyone’s priority! I have a small pile of clothing building for the charity clothing bank, which I may get rid of tomorrow as well as the bottles on my way to work.
I have been asked to work overtime next week, that’s okay but I need to be far better prepared with meals etc, I’ll be doing an aldi run at some point this weekend.
Oh I have to share this - my upper sixth class have written the most beautiful dedication to me in their yearbook, I cried when I read it. Proud moment xx
Much love to you all xx

Kazwookie, enormous (((hugs))) to you and your OH xx
Glad today is over for you and your DS, YL xx
Hope all goes well for you tomorrow, round x
Congratulations to your DD, Mademoiselle - she must have made a good impression during her internship 👍
Pleased to say that I managed to do a slightly longer, hilly walk with Rosie, and I feel almost back to normal this evening. Oh the joy of not having backache!
3 loads of washing are draped over the bathroom radiators and airers, Rosie has been brushed, and I'm now going to sort some ancestral records 😊9 -
HB.. I just get annoyed for not doing stuff sooner.. in the end 2 boxes took about an hour. I have a totally empty drawer and OH said he wants to keep his work stuff upstairs in a drawer so I have an empty drawer.. with NOTHING in it... I don't like empty drawers when there is so much lying about, tomorrow I shall find it some contents.
I have added some embroidery hoops and aida to the CS box, some card things noone has ever looked at and a 'make your own jewellry' set.. no one needs that mess in their lives!
I have some books to go on a shelf and a knitting pattern to go in the folder. I have decided the PS2 games etc can go on the bookcase upstairs.. I have also decided I am getting white doors for the brown unit and having towels etc in there instead of in the ancient cupboard and getting a smaller bookcase for those books, they are 'teenager-ish' type books which Squeak has just about grown into. that will open up the landing more and make it brighter.. and hopefully make more usable storage spaces.

Morning all, thanks for the lists x
DH has requested I sort dancegran’s paperwork out today which has taken over half of our living room. We have a face to face meeting here on Thursday so he wants to make an effort. I’m not looking forward to having to let certain people in. I need to chase the solicitor too.
I would like to sort under sink cupboard as well. We have ants around the kitchen windowsill and I am keen to clear the worktops.
