NatWest Online Banking WARNING

I have had a dreadful experience with NatWest Bank today: every single point in the system has resulted in failure. No need to go into details other than to say if you wish to bank online smoothly and save yourself unnecessary stress stick to another provider because NatWest systems and structure are completely unfit for purpose.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

I used Natwest (and RBS) online banking and app this morning, with no problems. I have been logging in at least once a week for months on end, never had an issue. They really got their act together after their IT meltdown in 2012. Their app has recently come on in leaps and bounds and is IMO now one of the best UK banking apps.

Well I shall be sticking to FD from now on. 25 years of banking with little to complain about, perhaps they provide a higher benchmark. NatWest's failings are basic.

We use both too, without any issues. This morning one of them, I think it was RBS, the app had an update.

Thanks for the warning! I'll definitely avoid NatWest now, on the basis of this information.
  • Sure I'll give up my 3% regular saver and £5 rewards a month on the basis of some vague nonsense. My only complaint was the card reader they sent wouldn't work properly, they sent me another and it worked fine
