NatWest Online Banking WARNING

I have had a dreadful experience with NatWest Bank today: every single point in the system has resulted in failure. No need to go into details other than to say if you wish to bank online smoothly and save yourself unnecessary stress stick to another provider because NatWest systems and structure are completely unfit for purpose.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.
So much to read, so little time.

If you want your warning to come across as something more meaningful than a general angry rant, it would obviously be helpful to supply some detail!Rosa_Damascena said:I have had a dreadful experience with NatWest Bank today: every single point in the system has resulted in failure. I just logged in and accessed my accounts no issues.2

I used Natwest (and RBS) online banking and app this morning, with no problems. I have been logging in at least once a week for months on end, never had an issue. They really got their act together after their IT meltdown in 2012. Their app has recently come on in leaps and bounds and is IMO now one of the best UK banking apps.3

I have banked with NatWest for 47 years and never had a single problem. I have also used online banking for over twenty years without any issues.
Nevertheless, if there is a current problem with online banking, it would be useful to know what to look out for.5 -
Well I shall be sticking to FD from now on. 25 years of banking with little to complain about, perhaps they provide a higher benchmark. NatWest's failings are basic. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Their failings might be basic, but what are they?
Means nothing to those of us who have been using their online banking for a few years with no issue. So for your warning to have any meaning it would be more useful if you shared what the issue is.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.8 -
Not basic enough that you can summarize them in a few words though.Rosa_Damascena said:Well I shall be sticking to FD from now on. 25 years of banking with little to complain about, perhaps they provide a higher benchmark. NatWest's failings are basic.
With no details I’ll put it down as user error.15 -
We use both too, without any issues. This morning one of them, I think it was RBS, the app had an update.colsten said:I used Natwest (and RBS) online banking and app this morning, with no problems. Thanks for the warning! I'll definitely avoid NatWest now, on the basis of this information.1

Sure I'll give up my 3% regular saver and £5 rewards a month on the basis of some vague nonsense. My only complaint was the card reader they sent wouldn't work properly, they sent me another and it worked fine4
