Hi Seasidegal are you doing anything to monitor steps?
And what is your hydration like? I had a birthday blow out a few days ag9 and put on a few kg not because of poor diet choices but because of hydration and alcohol. Have you heard of the Fat Controller/Thomas the tank engine principle lol re water?

@Scott_Welland79 - I do monitor my steps on my mobile when I go out. They don't get measured while I'm indoors but I only have a small flat and no stairs to climb.I keep a note of my hydration through my Nutracheck app. I try to aim for 6-8 glasses of water per day, but it tends to add up more each day to more like 5-6. I don't include non-water drinks like coffee/alcohol into the mix although some commentators I have read say you can. I haven't heard of the Thomas the Tank principle though!😀
Today was darkish and rainy here. I did Pilates and then went to the gym and then Superdrug. I was going to Aldi but left it today because of getting caught in the rain so I'll go tomorrow.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
Spends: Pilates, gym and I bought some Nivea shower gel and Listerine as they were on offer. I also picked up my protein powder drink that had been delivered to our local Evri pick up point. I forgot to include this in my spends when I ordered it the other day.I bought it online from MyPr0tein - I bought the variety pack of ten sachets in different flavours. You just mix it with water and it's like a flavoured fruit drink - 20gms protein and 85cals. It was on offer for £10 off so £10.99 - mind you I had to pay nearly a fiver for delivery. It's more cost efficient to buy the tubs but I want to see if I like it first and if so what flavour. Also it was 🐙 free energy hour today so the dishwasher and washing machine went on, plus the vacuum battery was charged. 👍
WEIGHT
I was so pleased with weigh-in this morning - 2.2lbs lost so that is a grand total of 1stone 1.2lbs in four weeks! I'm over the moon!🌙. I can't see any difference when I look in the mirror but it's early days yet. I took my first 5mg dose of Mounjaro so fingers crossed with the side effects!

Thank you @beanielou - I did have a very large loss of of 7.5lbs in my first week, which of course is mainly water. But on the positive side, I'm not dragging around that water weight now!😀👍Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

re fluids I dont know your stats etc but I would aim for at least 1.5- 2 litres of just water if your gyming it. I wouldnt included coffee or alcohol into your fluid intake i would keep those separate. Both caffiene and alcohol dehydrate you and if your trying to lose weight thats bad lol.
re Thomas/Tank i will inbox you a vid of it. Ignore my pts bad language he honestly is a lovely guy just abit sweary, but its the principal you need to think of.
If your trying to drop weight add in 1-2 cups of green tea, and also try a supplement called CLA. Do abit research the two together are brill for weight loss.1 -
Your friend’s do sounded very nice.Hope there are no side effects when you up the dose.January spends - £587.581

Thank you @Scott_Weiland79 - I'm not on Facebook though so I can't view the video!☹️. I am trying very hard with my water - always aiming for two litres per day which I think is around 8 glasses - some days go better than others. I'll take a look at CLA, but I can't drink the green tea! I absolutely loathe tea in any form! Actually that's not quite true - I don't mind fruit tea (I do drink hibiscus tea as it's good for blood pressure) as these don't have that awful tannin taste. When I tried green tea it made me gag!😂
Thanks @milann - there's been a slighter more suppression of appetite, but nothing else so far.Yesterday was busy - I slept in which I didn't plan to do as I wanted to get down to Aldi. Anyway I got my shop then met my friend in the afternoon for coffee and picked up some fruit in the greengrocer and my favourite loaf in Tesco. Then spent about an hour on the phone to a good friend whose birthday it was. She and her hubby moved away some years and I don't see her as much as I would like.Early evening I went off to our local theatre with DSis to see Hairspray, which was very good DSis had got some really good stalls seats and we enjoyed the performance.Today was quiet - I had Zoom Pilates this morning but no gym as my PT is away. This afternoon I caught up with some TV. Will make myself go out for a walk later.SCRIMPY MSE THINGS
Yesterday was food shops, fiver to the Big Issue guy and drinks at the theatre. My pal bought the coffee earlier.Today it's just been Pilates payment.A non- Scrimpy thing though is that I've put the rad on in the bathroom as it's really chilly in there now in the mornings, plus the towels are taking longer to dry.WEIGHT
I didn't do great with food yesterday. ☹️. I didn't overeat, but didn't get enough calories. Oversleeping put me back and I ate lunch later than I usually do (little veg frittata and big salad), but felt too full to then eat my afternoon fruit. I didn't get back from the theatre till late and thought I really should eat something. So I had some cold cooked chicken which really wasn't a good idea that late. I woke up in the early hours of the morning thirsty and after I had some water I had really bad indigestion. I managed to fall asleep after a couple of anti-acids and was ok this morning but basically it wasn't ideal. Not enough food, not enough water consumed (but a naughty gin and slimline tonic at the theatre), and I didn't hit my five a day (I nearly always go over with this) - 834 calories consumed which isn't enough. ☹️
Today I'm back to normal with egg/beans brunch and afternoon fruit. Dinner will be the rest of the chicken kebabs and rice I had the other day and broccoli. One thing I was really pleased about was to do with clothes. The YouTuber I follow re Mounjaro (Lady Mawa - go check her out if you're interested - her channel is brilliant and she's based in the U.K. instead of the US like so many), films weekly updates of her weight loss journey, but she also films a calendar monthly update which she calls 'Non-Scale Victories' whereby she tries on her too small clothes and measures herself to see how she is progressing each month. I decided to do this as well so I have a pair of much too tight jeans. Last month I tried these on and couldn't even get the jeans to button up, let alone zip up! The jeans have two studs, one under the other to fasten and today I manage to fasten the top button! I was so pleased!😀👍. Looking forward to trying the next button next month! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That’s brilliant the jeans are marking your progress. I’m the same as you with tea, it’s the metallic taste, it makes my throat quiver 🤣 I can drink fruit teas though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
