I think I live somewhere by the seaside @Sun_Addict but not too sure these days.......🙄😀
Bears all fed this morning. I'm just having a coffee and scroll of diaries then off to shower and some housework - DD hasn't been up here permanently for a few weeks due to work so all housework has been left to her OH. He ticks over with it all but things could do with a spruce up so I'm taking this break as an opportunity to do a 'Zone' clean starting with the kitchen. The fridge is the main item on the agenda today.Later I'm off for a walk with Bears, the neighbour and his dog.MSE SCRIMPY THINGS
I found a voicemail on my phone yesterday afternoon from the company where I have ordered my sofa bed to arrange a delivery date. I'll call them later - it will have to be delivered the week after I get back from here and I'm going to have to pay the balance when I call. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Your French trip sounded brilliant but a pity about the odd food.

Thanks @redofromstart @doingitanyway and @milann!😀👍
All quiet here the last few days - the weather has been beautiful so far. It looked like it rained in the night when I got up this morning and is overcast at the moment but is set to sunshine later in the morning. Have just put on a load of towels to wash and will hang them outside when finished. I miss having nowhere outside to hang washing when I'm at home.I've been out with some of the neighbours for coffee and also popped round to visit some yesterday. I'm out later with one for a trip to neighbouring village to pick up a few bits. The Bears have been fed and watered - Bear1 currently surveying and guarding his domain from the step outside and Bear2 is snoring next to me!
I've been reading a fair bit and have just finished Alison Weir's new novel on Henry VIII which I enjoyed. Have now switched over to a bit of chick lit and have downloaded one of Tamsin Perry's novels that I haven't read before - Daddy's Girls - a good old escapist read with lots of glamorous people and intrigue!

i bought a round of coffees when out the other day. Also bought my Tamsin Perry kindle download. It's the last day of the month today so have paid off my monthly credit card bills and did a reccie on my end of month YNAB account. I've overspent on the usual suspect - Entertainment - Drinks and Meals Out. Mind you I ate out a few times this month so that has pushed up the expense. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Two and a half months off the boards! I've got to do better than this!🫣
Thank you @angela110660 and @doingitanyway - I'm ok!
Well when I last posted I was Bear sitting in Scotland - I'm actually off there again next week for a fortnight. Since the last trip I've had a lovely weekend in Paris and Versailles which was a late Christmas present from DD and OH and days out/weekends with friends. I've also had monthly wins from my premium bonds - nothing life changing but not to be sneezed at. 😁Biggest spends have been getting my kitchen somewhat updated as I've never really be fond of the handles on my kitchen cupboards since I had it renovated several years ago. I've had handleless soft closed doors fitted from Howdens still in the same dove grey gloss as originally fitted. Also a new integrated washer drier to replace the old stand-alone machine and a new oven (from Bosch as I never liked the original Lamona oven as it got too hot), plus a black composite granite sink with matching tap and a white quartz worktop. I'm really pleased with everything but the worktop. It looks lovely in itself but there is definitely a large gap left between the worktop and the wall. I've been on to Howdens as they arranged the measurement and fitting of this, not my kitchen fitter who did the rest. So I'm awaiting the outcome. Apart from this all that's left to do is the fit the matt black switches and sockets and ceiling light that I've ordered. This has all been funded from some of the tax free cash I took from my pension when I thought I'd be moving. The bathroom is the next project but I think I'll leave this for now as I've had enough of stuff scattered all over the flat whilst the kitchen was being done. The bathroom will be a very bigger and dustier job and I don't think I can hack that at the moment!😫
I was staying at my friend's in London at the weekend which was quite hectic!🤪. I've had a quietish day today - just pottered about doing the household tasks I should have done at the weekend.I'm meeting a friend for lunch on Thursday but apart from that it'll be a quiet week.So I'm now off to read diaries! 😀Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
