We are both fans of the same sheer sunblock. I also use Boots and buy it 3 for 2 as it is pricey. I've run out as only the bigger stores stock so you've reminded me to go to a larger store....
Sad to hear of your friend's brother.
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks @beanielou@Sun_Addict and @milann - well I never heard any shouting outside on Friday evening due to England scoring!🤣. Damp squib of a match by England - let's hope they come back to life on Tuesday!

@doingitanyway - yes I really like the tinted Roche-Posay sunblock - it's much better than using a foundation during the day in the summer.

I was quite pleased yesterday morning when I weighed myself as I lost 5lbs!😃. Last weekend I decided to cut out snacking at home (either sweet or savoury), drink more water and watch my calories. Outside the home I'm still going to have what I want to eat or drink but as I'm not socialising every day this should be ok. I've also taken up my daily 10 minute stretching exercises from my Barbara Currie yoga dvd. I started doing these last year and, alas, like my diets, these went by the wayside. I feel much better when I do the stretches and it helps my lower back which doesn't feel it has fully recovered from being stuck to my desk and chair when WFH.

Yesterday was a quiet day - went out to pick up some bits at the greengrocers and little Tesco in the morning and had a mooch round the shops. I bought another Stoneglow diffuser this time for the living room- Peony and Gardenia which I love.

This morning I had brunch with my friend - she thinks it will be a few weeks before the post mortem is carried out on her brother so she and her family are in limbo at the moment. ☹️

Shall be watching the new Joan Collins interview with Piers Morgan later in TV - I always find her entertaining. 😃

Spends were the food bits, diffuser, sympathy card and money to DSis for flowers for my Dad's grave as it is Fathers Day. It was my friend's turn to pay for brunch so I left the tip.

It’s awful being in limbo before a funeral……so sad. I know the last couple of funerals I’ve attended have been getting on for 4 weeks…..and that’s without any pm.
Wow well done on the weightloss 👍👏

Thanks @beanielou and @milann - I'm pleased with this weight loss result as I haven't gone as gung-ho as I normally do and have taken it a bit more easier this time.

    Thanks @Sunshine_girl2 @IzzyBee and @milann😃

The plumber texted me this morning to let me know he couldn't come round today to price up my jobs and will be coming tomorrow instead. 😡

Teeming with rain again today in Seasideville so I didn't go out - I decided to sort out my bookcase.  It took me ages to take the books off the shelves, wipe down the bookcase, dust the books and put them back in order. All nice and neat now and I managed to weed out six books that I can take to the charity shop.

I paid off my two monthly credit cards bills today. I put as many of my spends that I can onto my Amex cashback card and if this isn't accepted by the retailer, I put them on my M&S loyalty card for the vouchers. All 'paid off in full' each month in the best MSE fashion!😃💳

Apart from those, it was a NSD today.
