Me thinks the lady doth protest too much...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • That's a bit odd. I don't think I'd like a company sharing the details of my complaint to them with another customer... That doesn't seem very professional.

The best rebuttal would probably be rectifying the situation, and as they are catering to a luxury lifestyle market, I'd say doubling the price of the Harrods gift card would be a good start...

Hope you get your card after all this, Hollydays, let the rest of us know if you do or not. I wasn't aware a Harrods gift card could be canceled, out of interest I emailed to ask them.

Also, as a side note, "Kudos Card" is a registered trade mark of an employee motivation company http://www.kudoscards.net/index.htm

I also attended the same promotional seminar, at the Kudos Mayfair offices on Wednesday 12th December 07. However, my views and opinions are slightly different.....We were invited to attend the seminar in Mayfair and in return for our time we would receive either a Harrods gift card for the value of £150 or a choice of other gifts (All very nice!!!). Whilst we were in the offices of Kudos we were treated totally professionally and all their staff came across very polite, it certainly wasn't a 3 hour high pressure presentation. The product and concept they were offering was excellent!!! In fact, the massive joining fees you mentioned???? I spend over £3000 pa and the main reason for us attending was because our friends have been using their product and service for over 5 years (we have been away with them on 2(Two) trips organised by Kudos, great accomodation, very well looked after from door to door) At the end of the presentation no-one was hassled in anyway and all of us left with a good impression about the whole thing. Today in the post we received as promised our Harrods card, so I don't quite understand your statement "DODGY" "BE WARNED"....Instead, I would say "REFRESHING TO MEET A REAL COMPANY, THAT OFFERS A REAL SERVICE". I would also like to add, that we didn't join Kudos, we were advised by the presenter that our friends membership can be extended for us to use, which we have already sorted....so I DON'T understand your moan, then again some people are never happy and always want a FREE LUNCH!! Maybe you could comment or you should speak to our friends who also feel the same as us.

So exactly what is the product and concept they are selling, and why should it be considered 'excellent'? What is the actual joining fee and any other subscription fees? How can you have been using their products and services for 5 years if the company has only been registered for less than 6 months? How have you managed to use them for 5 years if you do not have a Kudos card yourself, and have only just managed to arrange for your friend's membership to be extended to cover you? Clever Kiwi never actually mentioned the date of the seminar he/she attended - how did you know it was on the 12th December, and how did you know that Clever Kiwi attended on that date?

    My question is "Why?"

Why do people who have a link or vested interest in a company always talk/type like this:

Clever Kiwi & Hollyday, are you the same person???? I spent £3000 pa travelling and enjoying myself, whats your point?

As I said, in my reply to CLEVER KIWI, I spoke to Kudos Concierge today to say "Thank You" for our card that they promised, it arrived in the post this morning. They also explained that they wanted to inform everyone that YOUR CARD HAD GONE MISSING IN THE POST!!!!!??????!!!!! DODGY POSTMAN, maybe!! Although they haven't concluded their investigations they sent another card to you today.

As I said we got what we went for, maybe you should be abit more patient and allow the company to sort out what they can, rather than jumping on the attack....or maybe I got lucky because our friends are members with Kudos....NOT!

If you are NOT the same people, how do you know about Kudos and if you experienced the same as the CLEVER KIWI, then you know all about Kudos anyway, after YOUR APPARENT 3 HOUR HARD SELL PRESENTATION...LOL

It's almost like a script where they have to say it was really really good.

I use a few small companies and if someone asked me about them I'd just say:

"ABC company are pretty good for marketing widgets."

Why the script defensive waffle?

The burning question is..why wouldnt they just give out the Harrods card AFTER the seminar ,at the seminar......answers on a postcard please..
  • Even if they have been going for 7 years, 400,000 clients means that, on average, they would have signed up almost 60,000 clients per year, or 5,000 per month. Not everyone who attends the seminars will actually sign-up, let's say 50% do - that means 10,000 people per month, on average, have attended their seminars over the last 7 years, which means 2500 per week, or 350 per day. They must be very busy!!
