Your thinking on the part time thing sounds sensible to me if you can make it work. I've been fortunate enough to be part time for a fair few years now and I've not regretted it for even an instant.

  • It's a happy and sad day today. My youngest grandson is 1 today , going to see him shortly. Then after that I am going to my best friends mums funeral the sad bit. My own parents are coming with me as they have known her for as long as I did over 50 years .
I am not going to the wake as another colleague is also going to a funeral this afternoon so I am covering for her this afternoon as she is for me this morning.
Food prices seem to be going up so fast at the minute it's quite scary , I am just thinking about my limited income from June if it happens . Will just have to eat less I guess .
Need to chase up dental reimbursement today from health provider , went two weeks ago and nothing needed .
I am pleased to say my no spend January is going quite well at the minute this will be NSD 18 today.
Anyway best get moving , I will be glad when January is over as everyone else . Thank you to my two MSE friends for their  chats yesterday you brightened up a dull day.

Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

  • Sorry to hear about your friend's Mum SG2 - hopefully the funeral goes as well as these things can.
