  • Sorry you're not well Sunshine. I expect it would have shown up on a test by now if it was Covid. I had a cold for seven weeks before Christmas and needed antibibiotics but kept testing negative for Covid.

Your round up of your year sounds so positive :).

I've also had various coldy symptoms but regular LFT's ahead of those symptoms becoming apparent have all been negative - there are just an awful lot of colds about at the moment I think and we've all forgotten how rough they can make us feel after most of us having had 12 months or more free of them!

  • I seem to have very nearly fought the virus off , no cough just a slight runny nose , about time as well.
I have spent two full days in my works office and it has been ok not many people . I am looking forward though to getting back into routine next week.
The dentist was this morning and nothing needed so just £23 something. I can claim it back so will do that this weekend.
My manager did my 1to 1 today and we discussed my part time working interest. He came up with an option for me to think about. Rather than going part time officially from December we have a flexible scheme where you can drop your hours for a min 3 month up to 12 month so I may do that and see how I get on financially.
I got another pension forecast online yesterday and I am going to be ok by the looks of it ,working part time and getting one of my pensions. The only downfall is I will lose out on my pension that I pay into now as it's final salary .
However I feel I am ready now to do less hours so I am going for it as soon as financially viable .

    I think that's a great idea.
So difficult for people in our age group who should have been retiring at 60.
