Sun_Addict said:I love all the poppy bits that appear. Locally we have some large ones attached to lampposts. I always think of my uncle who was held prisoner in the 2nd World War and rescued by Russian soldiers. He was a big advocate of buying a poppy.
Love the poppy picture.
I saw some nice knitted ones near me on some railings recently. Made me smile.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Then had my tea with them , before picking up DD and her sister in law and dropping them off at the big arena In town .Had my booster jab this week, no side effects thank goodness .Tomorrow is the usual shopping and then baby sitting for youngest DGS . This weekend I want to find my Xmas cards I know I bought them all in the jan sales but can't remember where they are .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

I felt glad your booster was ok and loving the poppies, we went to see the ones that were at the Tower of London and it was quite emotional. We also had an art installation a few years ago which was miniature bodies laid out in shrouds in a big park in the city, each body represented a fallen soldier and both me and DD cried when we saw themOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202

I had a call for my booster a few weeks ago but I’ve been off colour since so not had chance to go for it yet…..😡

Every time I do the school run it always rains . I should be used to it I guess . Had some issues with parents doctors today . My dad needs 2 stitches taking out of his hand next Friday. You would think we were asking for a brain transplant . My mum stood her ground with them and they agreed to do it . It does mean my dad will miss his opticians appt . I will be taking my mum for hers though . All good fun .
I am hoping to have a parent /child/grandchild free weekend . I have a lot to do tomorrow. Will do Remembrance Day parade with the local community Sunday morning . The local cenotaph is literally round the corner .Well best get the brolly out and go and gets the DGC .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
Sorry to hear you had the problem at the doctors - pleased to hear your mum stood her ground though and they took out your dad's stitches. We seem to have loads of doctors at my surgery but you can never get to see one since the pandemic started. 🤷♀️The poppy waterfall looked lovely - we have had a few installations around my way. A photo of one devised as a soldier was in one of the national papers the other day. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Christmas cards found right at the back of my storage room with a card list . Done the usual housework and 2 loads of washing.Been and put air in my tyres and checked water etc .Had a lovely walk in the sunshine , fairly mild as well .Going to watch some Netflix soon .Tomorrow is the local Remembrance Sunday walk from outside my front door at 9.30am , to the cenotaph and then to the local church .Afternoon will be spent ironing, sorting finances and meal plan update.Received £25 from survey site yesterday. I have been barred from PA for some reason that they won't tell you . Not been able to get on for months , emailed them and that was the answer I got .TCB has £23 available so will cash that out as well . Plus Shoppix is not far off another £10 . P
