My friend was telling me that her and her husband drove over to their local Debenhams which is selling everything off. Her husband picked up some real bargains - among them a really nice jacket for £6. She said there was nothing left ladies clothes wise that she liked but she bought some luxury brand make-up that was heavily discounted. Although both said they would rather have the Debenhams store back to how it was and up and running as the town lost its M&S a couple of years ago and Debenhams was the only department type store left. ☹️Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Great to see your new diary and you all debt free
I've been walking daily now too and doing stairs. Feeling better for it.
I will miss Debenhams too. It is where I bought make-up/perfume and had a cup of tea...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I met an MSE diary lady in our Debenhams for a coffee a couple of years ago. Not heard from her since, hoping she’s ok. I’ll really miss our Debenhams it’s so sad 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Happy shiny new diary,I commented on the old one that I will miss Debenhams ,they always had nice bedding and a good Christmas shop. I also used to like their own brand jeans which were just the right length for my short legs 😟
I'm another one who will be paying rent when I retire, my house is a shared ownership house so even when I pay my mortgage off I will still be paying rent. Still the bright side is that the mortgage will be paid off so that's somethingOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -

Work is very crazy again this past week, I spent about 10 hours working yesterday to clear the weekend reports . I am hoping now lockdown is easing our work will return to normal business , fingers crossed. The weekend was the usual parental shopping and getting the children from school on Friday. DGD came home with a certificate for lovely cursive writing , not bad for a 4 year old as I certainly can't do it.Sunday I met a friend in the big park again and we did about 5 miles , chatting all the way round. We have agreed to carry on meeting there even after lockdown is over.I am so looking forward to having a friend round for a coffee again, being able to have the family round again for a meal.On Thursday I am going on a little break for 3 nights to the coast , really looking forward to it and some down time.Exercises in the morning I am into week 5 and I am really benefitting from it, I feel much more alert in the day.Money is going ok , I will set my new budget from payday with the aim to save the amount I would have paid to the loan each month. It's sunny here at the moment , I hope it stays that way .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Enjoy your few nights away at the coast. It sounds lovely.
The walk around the big park sounds good too- nothing better than a walk as talk except a lovely cafe or pub at the end.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with friends too.....😀January spends - £587.584 -
I was just thinking about how much I'm looking forward to meeting friends for coffee. I hope I won't ever take such things for granted again that's for sure 😊

Morning, today is in work day , the office are opening up more desks next week but you are only allowed one day per week so things are moving for people who would like to return to the office .After this I am meeting my boss and colleague at a local Costa outside for a catch up rather than the normal zoom. I could really do without it as I need to keep up to date with work as I finish tomorrow lunchtime .Paid my CC bill today as my car repair was on it , all paid now from the car pot.I have had money taken out by the gym I have cancelled need to check it is the right amount , it expires on the 31st May .Best get ready for work.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4
