I had a reply from parkingeye, didnt get put back on the exemption list for extra time but cancelled pcn so thanks for all your help.
Thank you for your correspondence in relation to the Parking Charge incurred on 23 April 2021 at 12:37, at Lidl Beaumont Street car park.
We would like to confirm that this Parking Charge has now been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due.
If you make any future visits to this car park, please kindly take note of the maximum stay period in operation to avoid incurring any further charges. The terms and conditions will be displayed on the signage located at the entrance and within the car park.
Thank you for helping Lidl ensure that every customer has the opportunity to park their vehicle and shop.
Yours faithfully,
Parkingeye Team

I urge you not to leave it there.
I have just had a similar thing happen to me, theu cancelled the pcn today and i am far from finished.
I would write baxk something of the following.
Thank you for aknowledging that your parking charge notice was unreasonable ans should be cancelled, the resolution to my complaint is welcomed.
There is the outstanding matter of reasonable adjustments that i will require for future parking that i would like to discuss.
As you will be aware, i am disabled and i have restricted mobility.
I am therefore formally requesting that my VRM and blue badge number be whitelisted so that i may be afforded more time to compensate for my mobility issues.
I know that this is possible because i have previously had my data whitelisted with yourselves for this exact locationand for this exact reason.
I am sure i do not need to point out that under the Equalities Act 2010 discrimination against disabled people is unlawful, and it is a duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people so that they are not penalised in comparison to an able bodied person, just because of the disability they have.
A reasonable adjustment for my reduced mobility would be allowing me extra time in order to carry out the same activities as an able bodied person, in a safe and secure fashion.
Failure to consider reasonable adjustments to accomodate someones disability when they have disclosed it and endeavoured to point out how and what a reasonable adjustment would be, could therefore be classed as wilfull discrimination of a protected person.
If you choose not to make a reasonable adjustment in this case, i can only assume it is because of two reasons.
Parking eye either thinks the Equalities Act 2010 doesnt apply to them or you find my request to be unreasonable.
If you find the adjustment of asking for more time to carry out the same tasks as an able bodied person is not reasonable, i ask you to find a suitable solution to my problem that is reasonable and agreeable to both of us. This could be free disabled parking for all displaying a blue badge, allowing blue badge holders to reset their stay by moving from one space to another in order to shop in the manner that the able bodied can, or reassessing the layout of your car park, as well as many other possible solutions.
As i have been whitelisted in the past by your company at this site, i would be inclined to think that extra time is accepted by yourselves as a reasonable adjustment.
If no adjustments are made to acommodate my disability, i will have to write to my MP, your oversight comittee and also write to the Equality Advisory and Support Service to make them aware of any possible preemptive discrimination i could be subjected to. They will then advise me on if and how to force you to comply with the Equality Act and ultimstely the law.
In all cases your reasonable adjustment would be best served as a blanket policy adjustment for all disabled people, so no others are discriminated against either.
Could you please let me know if you think extra time is reasonable, and if so that my VRM has been whitelisted, or could you please furnish me with the answer to one of the two points made above. Either proof you are above the law, or an acceptable adjustment you are willing to make.
My spelling is atrocious so please dont copy and paste that straight into an email but proof read and pick bits that work for you, thay you can make your own.
With the new legislation and people standing up to these people we can make them feel every infraction where it hurts the most. Their bottom line.5 -
Thank you, I'll definitely do this, not sure where to send to though, as I've already appealed so wouldn't send to that address and they don't deal with appeals/complaints at

NO-ONE SENDS A SILLY LETTER TO PARKINGEYE BY POST.
I have sent three letters to them in the last five years. I do not think that they were silly though as all three PCNs were cancelled.
My reasoning is that a well crafted letter is likely to be taken more seriously than an email. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -
Nicely done and good to see you advising people already, @Dizzyflop. A real fightback spirit is great to see!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Agreed, Parking Eye are basically saying "we've cancelled the PCN but will discriminate against you in future". Seriously?! What's wrong with these people???{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}2

Its always worth remembering that they were so quick to add fake charges to me and others, and blow up about nothing.
You may not get the chance to counter claim, win and get money from them and an apology, but forcing them to abide bu the law will be considerably more costly to them in that regard than a counter claim due to redoing signs, websites, letter templates, advice, and of course, the loss of "revenue". Revenue seeming to be in this case confidence tricks on the disabled.
Happy to help where i can. I will make mistakes guys so please pull me up on those whilst i learn!

You are not only responding to what you received by notification that the pcn was cancelled, you are raising a linked, but entirely different complaint and an extremely serious one if not dealt with too.

i might be inclined to track down the bigwig at parking eye and copy them in to whatever is sent. CEO's *sometimes* have no idea what their subordinates are doingThe only thing the PE CEO will have interest in is whether his staff are bringing in maximum income. Doing anything that helps the public can only work against that objective. Save your stamp! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Wrote to parking eye, saying pretty much what you said to put, they replied, giving me extra time, but don't say how much longer so I presume as much time as before, (3 hours)
Thanks everyone for your help.
